❤ loved it. I learned a lot. Thanks for the tip on slowing the video down with the wings. I never did that before. I found it on TH-cam on the video in the upper right corner. I even enjoyed the music too. I never would have thought to use the blue. But I am not good with color yet. Thank you so much. I have some grayscale color books I open them look at a page and closed the book up. I did not know where or how to start or how to color the grayscale. Thank you so much for coloring for us. I’m so glad you even finished it. The video was not to long for me. Coloring is relaxing for me , even watching someone else color. 😊
ROTFL, cos I did the same thing when I opened a grayscale color book! In fact, I could have written this as I agree with everything you wrote. Thank YOU for doing this for me! 😂
Beautifully done! And you have a voice that is easy on the ears, I like listening to you. It’s early in the morning and I am the only one up, thanks for your company and your help, greyscale has scared me a bit so that was helpful thanks.
@@MrsCoffee1 yes me too, you get both in the Colouring Heaven magazine though, some I just don’t do. Whereabouts are you? I was born in the UK came to Australia in 1974, I am 73. Do you do other skin tones? There are so many ie Chinese, Japanese, Indian, and even African have so many different shades from light brown to almost jet black. I sometimes come across people from different corners of the world in my colouring and have difficulty with skin tones even though I have a lot of skin tone pencils, I would love to see videos on different skin tones I think that would help a lot of us colourists. 😊
I'm new to grayscale, and I'm not that great at regular coloring pages. I appreciate seeing another technique in coloring grayscale. So far I haven't figured out my style because I haven't done anything I like yet. At the moment, I'm trying out several layers of 3 or 4 colors. So far the hardest part is staying awake as I'm getting far too relaxed, and I'm finding myself falling asleep as I color 🤣🤣.
@@ThatPrettyBMF I'm jealous. I do seem to stay engaged longer if I have TH-cam or some other kind of video going. But, I still succumb to sleep at some point though.
I just started doing this from seeing someone in my Facebook group and the picture look so real!! I’ve been using prismacolor color pencil didn’t like using regular color pencils, I’ve even tried markers but it didn’t look as good as the prismacolor pencils!
That was so informative! I had no idea about even the most basic things. I assumed you could just use one red for example, and when you color over the darker areas, the red will automatically be darker too :D You live and learn :D
Hi Mrs Coffee -Coloring! I was so happy to see you doing that beautiful Angel. I have been coloring for a year and just love it. If you have a make up brush that you are not using, that is great for flicking off the crumbs from erasing or the color pencils. Have a Blessed Day. Gayle from NJ. 🤦🏼♀️🙅🏼🤣🕊
Thank you for doing this video, it definitely helped, not sure i'm ready yet to have a go at grey scale but loved watching you colour her in tfs hugs Cal x
Wow I found you! I haven’t seen you since I got into coloring in March 2020. looks like you love coloring too. I’m considering these pencils for my sister who is starting to get hooked. Maybe because I sent her two coloring books and some Crayola pencils. And I’m looking for a new grayscale book. Good to see you all the best.
Good morning Mrs. coffee thank you for the video I enjoyed it very much the color pencil in the picture came out beautiful enjoy the rest of your week stay warm and to the next video🥰❤️🌹🙂
As you said, everyone has their own preference for colors and styles. I would love to see a couple of you creators-or several of you- all color the same picture, each either using the same medium or maybe even different mediums to really showcase the many ways pictures can turn out. What do you think?
Thank you for this video. I am just starting to try coloring. The video provided so much useful info. Glad you used the Arteza pencils as I ordered them. I am looking forward to your video using markers.
Just ordered a small crafting/drafting table. Can't wait. Which they was about low on. 😆 I got lucky and was able to get one. So I have more room to do this stuff with. I'm wanting to learn the Greyscale. I have a few books. I have Prismacolors instead and other pencils. I forgot about those electric erasers.
Since colors look different in grayscale, before I color in my coloring book I like to make a copy (if possible) and test my colors on my copy first. Skin tones especially look different on top of the grey. You can also use a picture in your book that you don't like and know you won't be coloring.
I couldn't stop watching. Beautiful pic. I am so bad at skin tone and lips. I am still waiting for my arreza pencils to arrive so its hard to get the right colors. Always comes out looking orange. Lol I will keep practicing.
Hello Mrs Coffee, I guess I am late getting to this video, I see it came out in 2019 but very helpful thank you. I have had a grayscale coloring book for awhile but never knew there was a technique to using it.
@@MrsCoffee1 yes it was there, and I found it on Amazon. Also you showed it right in the video. Somehow I missed it the first time. But Thank You for this video. I rewatched it a few more times and it really helped a lot!!!
Would love to see you and Stitcherista and 1 or 2 others agree on one page and an agreed time frame and see how different all the results would be. You could all use the same medium or different ones, depending on what you all decide. What do you think?
I am friend with crafting with Kristi. Do you buddy color I don't have a channel and I don't have Instagram and I don't have Facebook. I do have a email address
I really injoy your tutorials, they are very informative. I also like that you explain what & why you are doing.😊

Don't be afraid of it, aint nothing to it but to do it.
@@MrsCoffee1 you make it look so easy, I’m watching Ruth Sanderson now her pages are sometimes REALLY dark 🤔
There are different gradients of greyscale, i prefer the lighter ones

I definitely enjoyed this tutorial. You have changed my mind about how I felt about grayscale. Ready to color now. Thanks.
Wow! Thank you Ms. Coffee. I always wondered how and why people colored grey scale. Now I know.
Thank you for this tutorial. Ur picture and color choice is beautiful. New to ur channel. 😊

I experience the opposite effect when I color: It keeps me awake at night because it's so stimulating. I could easily pull an all-nighter by coloring.

A smallish fluffy makeup brush is perfect for brushing the pencil and eraser "crumbs" off your pages. Thank you for this tutorial. ❤️
I absolutely love this! I hope I can get to this level

Shulaner makes beautiful fabric zippered cases. They take up way less room. I have their flowered 120 case for $15.
Great ideas thank you I am just starting with grey scale 😊

Thank you for explaining the grayscale technique, I don't know if you use one but a blending pencil would work great here🤗🙋♀️
Yes I do
thank you, I love my arteza colours, this has been so very helpful

Greyscale is kind of like a how to as it shows you where lite and Dark colors go
Crafting with Mrs. Crochet and Coffee do you use those colorless blending pens?
Sometimes but usually to push colors around
Crafting with Mrs. Crochet and Coffee thank you
I need this book in my life. Its so beautiful.
