Gonna be a VERY tough format for us… but I ain’t backing down 😤 Deckbuilding choices matter more than anything right now, but you also can’t apply the same theory to every deck…
I’ve learned a lot this month and might have the perfect gameplan to give us the best shot vs Firebois. We’ll talk about it in the next one 😎

I've been playing Bystial Resonators with Supay. Although the Resonator/RDA are weak to handtraps, the Bystials has helped me a lot vs. Fire King and Voiceless voice.
Etude's continuous effect messes up with Fire King.
100% correct. The bystial package makes the deck much more resilient overall and it's honestly not a terrible matchup vs snake eye fire king.
@@larryjerry1 Yep, they are forced to either get rid of Etude or my Bystial monster. In my recent locals, I went against a Pure Snake-Eye, he didn't like my Etude cause it autobanishes his Link Mats LMAO!
I feel like we need one or two more part cause like Revz did Link, Synchro, fusion, and now we just need an XYZ focused deck to finish of the strategies in the extra deck

So glad I wasn’t the only one who pulled absolute terrible. I opened 33 blisters of Maze today, only three Ultras, no collectors. At least one was a Bonfire.

@@santiagocano4141 yes, Red Zone needs an opponent's card/effect activation while Golem a faceup monster.

Red Mirror
When an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard, then target 1 FIRE Fiend-Type monster in your Graveyard, except "Red Mirror"; add it to your hand. If you Synchro Summon while this card is in your Graveyard (except during the Damage Step, or the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard): You can add this card to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Red Mirror" once per turn.

The regional was fun, my round 4 opponent told me about how he failed a deck check round 3 because his ash blossoms were too big.
I drew against him by scattershotting him 3 times in 1 turn:

You should try adding 3 Quick-Play spell called "Silent Graveyard" for a turn stall for your opponent. Also, soul drain with Booty E trap card can help you set a continuous trap and activate it on the same turn.
You can make the exact end board with just Bone+Crimson+Duskwalker and two random cards
Bystial Resonator is great against voiceless

Revz bro you have to use Crimson gaia effect to bring back a RDA from GY when something is popped :D Its great effect that comes in clutch sometimes
I remember 2023 Nationals , i was playing Earth Machine , managed to get to 5 win 2 loss 1 draw before the final round swiss , ended up losing to freaking Mathmech cause game 3 he opened a big handtrap hand , if i hadn't lose , i would have a chance to go day 2 , still kinda sad to remember that but heh , i'm not mad , using Earth Machine was a big bet for this turnament and it ended up being a pretty good choice for me back in the day ( It was in june 2023 so.. yeah imagine the format xD )
I read it as "I just topped by accident" and got excited then I reread it again and my day was ruined.
I am working on a Branded Control deck with Necrovalley....
I hate those types of maze sets. The ultra rare pull rates are terrible, and the collector rare rates are even worse.

so far still cant win a match against SE FK, but i have hope for the king of sink crows
btw, eventhough shifter hurts the deck more than SE, dd crow could be a valid card to at least put to test

6:55 this is why you either buy singles or go "bankrupt" on a case, it's also One of the reasons why Bonfire is a ~80 € card.
Anti spell is a really dangerous card. Sure it'll stop most opponent hands, however it often creates those awkward gamestates where you brick and keep opening prosp, call, gaia while under your own anti spell, which often enough gets you killed on turn two by the fk opponent
It's a difficult format for the deck, but I will still use this build because it's fun and I get that "jack feeling" out of it.

I feel like the master duel solution to not having enough space for non engine is to just play 46 cards or whatever. Idk how relevant that is for best of three with a side deck. But maybe just throwing in the extra non engine and being able to stop a play more often would be worth the drop in consistency

Dark world punishment banishes 3 cards from any gy then discards a fiend a quickplay. I think it might be better into the standby phase effects of fire king.

if this helps when your opp dropletted you you could of used red zone pop your lv 9 so droplet wouldnt resolve and you would of kept the double board wipe

Opinion on bystial? I play 3 lub 1 druis 1 magna and One trap plus 2 thrust
It might be an unpopular opinion, but I would love to see a “PYP Parallel Series” to this where instead of keeping going with Resonator, you make the transition into a different deck (Probably Fire Kings, honestly).

Hear me out, Soul Res is Boo Boo Aids, only good for your big combos because he is priority #1 for negation and is your normal summon. I’d drop all the resonators to 1 copy except crimson because in most cases they become bricks until you can meet their SS requirements plus this allows for more space to run extenders and interruptions. You want more ways to get to Crimson as that is your most resilient line and can go into your big combos with 1 copy of bone or DuskWalker respectively whilst also being an easy and consistent special summon. It may be tough to get your hands on the Bystials for the series but 3 copies of Lub and Sar as well as Beast, Etude, and regained are excellent ways to strengthen your boards and recover from interruptions/bad hands.
Because soul is fire I don’t think it differs much if you play ash or not
Don’t forget to call out the misplays from your opponents, Princess locks you into fire, how could you summon WorldSea, which is water, after summoning princess?
He went either amblo or phoenix first, I forget which one
@@RevzCards I looked back at the video and looked up the ruling for Princess and as long as it’s on the field, your locked into fire till you make Whale, then link for world sea, which makes it fine. I hate reading sometimes, perks of being a Yugioh player. 🤣

you say that no single handtrap kills the hand but nothing stop nib end of main right?
Nib alone depends on their build and hand, like pure can temple out an oak or flamberge to keep playing or make an early savage, while fire kings can setup arvata or appo before fully committing to snake eyes
It’s deffo one of the best handtraps to have against the deck though

End of main phase nib vs the god combo, you can chain supernova to banish & return during end phase, then you have red zone aswell, so double supernova on their turn at the very least or supernova + redzone pop by summoning back scarred

I think your opponent messed up at 30:22 ? I think zealantus has to summon the monsters banished off of its effect in either face up or face down defense position and they summoned their flamberge and your hot red in attack position (do forgive me if I happen to be wrong on this lol)
Zealantis is able to summon back in any face up position, dw I wasn’t cheating lol

Unfortunately this format is snake eye or bust. I know it sounds defeatist, but as someone who doesn’t have the money to compete I’ve lost all motivation to play or even try.
This format is like that, but there are also other decks that could be used, if you have the cards for them. I’m mostly am still on Kashtira in this format, as it has a decent amount of silver bullets (lack of better words) for the Snake-Eye Match up, as in Dimension Shifter, and just the monsters being able to trigger their effects if your Snake-Eye opponent attempts to even play. The only problem, with your original comment is that it’s still a “pricey” deck.
