Me too, the ecumaster setup looks great. Would love to build an is300 / gs300 + turbo, my only concern is how much power a stock auto transmission can take?
@@dan91sgarage the platform is old enough to drink. This has been covered extensively in at least 2 forums. Auto trans can take the most abuse of any stock offering (manual or automatic). The main thing is you have to shim the auto trans to hold the higher power. I think you're good to ~400 WHP, or more, reliably

Hi very interesting video I have a Toyota altezza sxe10 with a 1jzgte vvti jzx110 I am wondering if the Ecu Master will control the engine fully and is just the engine transmission alone is not controlling
I just installed my EMU black set up or actually my tuner is and I got my car back from him this weekend for some reason starting or like a hot start. I will have to give it a little bit of gas and cranking it and he is telling me normal because of the drive by flyers is there anyway possible I can make adjustments to where I just keptthe car without gas

Believe this kit is more towards the vvti engines. The plug and play worn work but the ecu will. They do have a pnp kit for the sc300 but it's for the ecumaster emu and not the black series. U honestly probably don't need to buy the black one if you can run the emu.
Thinking about getting this for my 2003 GS300. I'm in France, to pass an inspection here none of the dash lights can be on. So no check engine and no traction control lights, ABS etc. OBD2 port must also work. Does this harness and ECU cause any check lights or codes on the factory ECU?
Hey so im a little confused are you able to control the drive by wire on this because when i go to look the product page it says this: "The ETSC-i throttle body must remain connected to the stock ECU to correctly control the automatic transmission. For this reason, the EMU will not have control of the ETSC-i TB." Im not sure what that means can the stanealone still control drive by wire or is that something completely different?
Im tryna find out the same thing. I got an aftermarket intake kit but of course I cant use the OEM throttle body. Im curious if it has to be on or not.
This let's you keep the stock ecu so you can keep the auto trans working as it should? :O Does the obd2 port still function for diagnostics and 0bd2 plug in state inspections?
@@804MRMAN Traded my GS before I finished the project, but really unless your running high hp I'd just go piggy back. Ecu black is pretty expensive for what you get but thats just my opinion now.
Are you having issues tuning the is300. I have a buddy with this same set up but on his gs400 with a 2jzgte vvti swap and his issue is the throttle body is wanting to close at wot. I’m my self have this same set up for my is300 2jzgte swap vvti I haven’t installed it yet due to him having the issue. Maybe you can shed some light on where to start.

What did you do with the b1s1 b1s2 02 sensors just disconnect them??

How do you run your cam and crank sensors? the grounds are factory spliced together, how do you read resistance?

It did very well on the Dyno! Unfortunately we had a busy day at the shop that day and were not able to capture it on the Dyno!

You can tuck everything into the factory box just gotta cut a small whorl for the harness to come out of

Do ecu master leave pigtails in the pnp harness for gauges? Clt,afr, psi? So we don't have to tap into a wire to use for out gauges

Just yesterday My car started doing that. Factory ecu. Gonna inspect the encoder. Soldier joints.
Fortunately we did not have an issue with the throttle body wanting to shut at wot

ECUs don’t have a horsepower limit necessarily. Your engine build will be your restriction. Not ECU
