Awesome. Inactive for 5 years. I have about 4 jws that still talk with me. Hence the reason I do not sever the tie all the way. My heart and my mind are awake. The elders attempted to Sheppard me only once in those 5 years. They asked if there was anything I wanted to tell them, I said that I had smoked pot to help with my seizures. The call quickly turned from friendly to I need to talk to the Elders about this at length. At this time I ws homless and was offered money for a motel room provided the elders had the name of the hotel a receipt etc. I refused the money. There wss no support after my divorce nor for reprimand for a “brother” that was like Satan to Me when I had an emotional breakdown. The elders said it was not how they handled things. This so called brother locked me out of my house. He is a ms and in good standing in the cong. I’m A bad guy. I’ve been on reproof since 2013 when I married my second wife without having enough proof for the elders liking that my first wife commited adultery. Whew. Thanks! Absolutely worth a Google and some book searching. Can definitely get them and pretty cheap, too. I did extensive research into the the jailing of Judge Rutherford and his associates and Lloyd is right. They were 8n fact charged with the Espionage law. The relationship the Watchtower used to have with other churches during this time is eye opening. A lot of the views JWs still gold are based not on Watchtower understanding, but rather adopted from other fundamentalists during that time. So much for the holy spirit directing them to be the ones to truly understand the scriptures.
