    When you go to Disneyland Paris, book a restaurant you really want to go to in advance. You can do this when you're still at home but also from the desk of your Disney hotel and even at another restaurant in the parks. Something like the Ratatouille restaurant in Walt Disney Studios fills up quickly. Next to that, really check which restaurants are open and when they close. If you are like me and are used to having diner around five or six, you might have to divert to Disney Village or one of the hotel restaurants for some food. My group encountered multiple closed doors in Frontierland and Adventureland until we finally found Hakuna Matata still open. We had a quick bite, as that one was closing too. To be clear, the park was still open until 10.
    What you also want to expect is attraction breakdowns. Now, I'm not saying the parks are unsafe or unkept, but in the three days we were there we encountered multiple breakdowns. Crush Coaster was even already down before the Walt Disney Studios park even opened!

      Are you allowed to leave the park and return to it later?

    • @EspenSGX
      @EspenSGX 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@penelopepitstop762 Oh yes! When I go it's with a hotel package. You check in at the hotel where you then get your hotel information package (for example, at Davy Crockett you get a map of the camp area) and your card (think credit card, in size). This card is personal, so if you're with a group everyone gets one of their own. It opens the door to your hotel room and serves as the access to the parks, where you swipe it at the entrance and you're in. You can repeat this as many times as you want during your stay. See a low wait time in the other park or you want to eat or shop outside the parks? No problem!
      I need to add that they're kind of transitioning, though. Staying at Hotel New York: The Art of Marvel already gives you the option to use your smartphone instead of a card. This'll probably be implemented further as time goes by. Another reason to carry a power bank for your phone, I guess.
      I'm not sure what you exactly get when you buy a day ticket without a hotel, but it's probably similar. No parkhopping if you get a 1-park ticket, of course.

      @EspenSGX 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pilarbtz4071 You can bring what you want! However, they are probably going to stop you when you show up with a cart or something. But that's an excessive example. Just a couple of bottles to drink and something to eat in your backpack? No problem whatsoever.
      On a side note, I understand that in the American parks you can even order non-Disney stuff to be delivered to your hotel room from services like Amazon.

    Just started following. My greatest wish since a little girl, has been to go to disneyland and I will finally at the age of 37 (pretty sure I will turn into a 5 year old on arrivel😅) so the plan was to book a package with a 4 day ticket and a 3 night stay at cheanne, but know I think we perhaps should add another night , to be sure to have 3 full days at the parks, just so I don't return to DK and might feel I missed something 🙈

      Premier Access you mean? Unless it's really busy or you have money to burn, you don't need it. Disneyland Park was build pre-Fast Pass, so when Fast Pass went away the seemingly weird situation happened that all wait times went down considerably, even with less capacity because of precautions.

    Helpful video, thank you. Would the parks be very busy in May on a weekday?

    • @EspenSGX
      @EspenSGX 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends. Check if there are public and/or school holidays in France. You might also check those out for the surrounding countries. I happen to know that the Dutch have a school holiday early in May, so take that into account.
      In general, though, weekdays are less crowded than weekends. Weirdly enough, while you'd think Fridays would be part of the busier weekend days, Mondays can be too (at least, pre-2020). Having said all that, you most likely have time enough to do everything in the parks at least once in a three day stay. If it's busier also look at pro tips, like going to busy rides during parades and the nighttime spectacular. And remember the trick that you can enter a ride until the very moment of park closure (there are stories of cast members sending you away, but that's against Disney policy).

    Hello,
    I´ll spend just a day in Eurodisney. I´m with a big doubt:
    Do I buy ticket only for 'Disneyland' (1 park) or also for 'Walt Disney Studios' (2 parks)?
    PS.: In 3D I don´t even play, because I have "motion sickness".

    • @EspenSGX
      @EspenSGX 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Funny how "Euro Disney" is still around after just being used for a bit at the start in the 90s.
      Anyway, if you're just going one single day, focus on the Disneyland Park. Unless you really want to do The Tower of Terror (and the Iron Man rollercoaster). Ratatouille and the yet to open WEB Slingers Spider-Man ride are 3D projection rides, so those won't do it for you then. Because of this Disneyland Park will have way more rides for you to enjoy, as only Star Tours uses 3D projection.

      I’d say any ages from 4-15 years old, because I went when I was 4 and my sister was just 9 months old, and we couldn’t get on many rides, although I went a second time when I was eight and my sister was 4. She was a centimetre to small for thunder mountain and rides like that, although I went on every ride apart from Indians Jones and hyperspace mountain bc they were closed. Hope this helped!

    Dear parents!
    Let the kids choose their favourite Disney Parks souvenirs!!! When the kids are very good, then they deserve more souvenirs. Every good behaviour kid should have 1-2 bags of Disney Parks souvenirs: plush toys, toys, mini figures, bubble blower, Mickey ears, t-shirts, jacket, drinking bottle, and some pins or magnets and etc. Please buy only those Disney Parks souvenirs, what the kids very want!!!! I know many Disney souvenirs are very expensive, but when the kids are very good all the times, then sometimes they deserve these things!!! Please be kind parents and make Your kids very happy with these Disney Parks souvenirs, what the kids have chosen and don’t say NO all the times, when the kids very deserves those Disney Parks souvenirs for good behaviour!!!
    Respectfully,
    Astra Viil ☺️🙏

    • @EspenSGX
      @EspenSGX 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Currently (early 2022) there are an obscene amount of rides closed. It's a Small World even won't be open until the second half of 2022 (so knowing DLP the second half of 2023). The castle is kind of finished. The super structure has been refurbished, but the bridge and the connected buildings are up next at some point. So if you want that sweet photo in front of the castle, you might want to keep a look out for when they are going to do work on that.
      Generally, plan your stay after Avengers Campus has opened this Summer in Walt Disney Studios Park. And even then look out for when they are going to redo the street of the right side of the park, in the area that's now known as Worlds of Pixar. They've said they are going to do it, but not when.
      If you want to be really safe, wait until Frozen has finally opened. But that'll probably be 2024 (probably 2026, at the rate they're going).

    • @kittylmao
      @kittylmao 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean I completely agree after trying to book and realising how many rides are closed, although if you are in Paris a day trip is a good idea as appeared to staying for 2-5 days. 2024 is the best time because of the marvel and frozen area
