Every band cant be the most underrated. They had a successful career with multiple hit songs and millions of records sold worldwide. Including multiple world tours. Video after video played on Mtv. So I'd say they were rated and recognized correctly as a good band with alot of great songs.
@@bryanm7953 True, however they still don't get the attention it seems that they should have, in comparison to household names with Motley Crue, ACDC, Guns N Roses, probably because lyrically speaking, they have far more depth than the others.

Actually in their time they got A LOT of recognition. They died off fast in the mid 90s unfortunately and by the early 2000s they were unheard off almost. But back in th day?? Bro they were gods. Always sold out everywhere.

Saw the Cult last weekend in Vegas, and Ian looked great!
Ians voice is so unique, no other band like the Cult. I was obsessed with this band and when I hear these songs it brings back all my memories from those good old days ❤️

Sonic Temple is easily in the Top 10 Best Hard Rock Albums Of All Time. A masterpiece.
I agree 100% and it still sounds fresh today unlike a lot of the hair bands of that time their unique sound has aged well.

It took me several days to leave safely, and i kept hearing the lyrics say "keep on pushin" even when my abuser stated I wasn't worth killing and law enforcement refused to serve the protective order timely, I kept pushin, and know I am free!!!!

omg i know the feeling, ym song for thsi was 'dare yiou to move' not quite as rock unfortunauely XD, but it had a story in itself, as during this time I found some faith, adn only after (with a few pretty cool testimonies to go with), i found out the lyrics were about the salvation of God

I was just grumbling why don't they make music like this anymore and then I thought why would I want them to make music like this. We have the most amazing classic rock and roll available to us music that brings back the most epic and unbelievable times of Our Lives. Tunes that are The Very Best of the Best by epic band that could never be replaced so I'm just going to keep what I'm lucky enough to have and if the next Generations choose to listen to the crap that continues to get pumped out they're welcome to it. When they finally catch on the best of the best will still be here waiting for them.
