While I find myself still listening to this song years later, it chokes me up and has me smiling at the same time. My brother and dear friend was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I remember a short time before his passing taking a trip with my family and his. That weekend we was filled with laughter and tears. We knew we were saying our goodbyes. He told me what he desired for his wife and kids after he was gone. That weekend we listened to so much of city and colour. The city and colour songs struck a chord so powerful and meaningful at the time. This song played on the radio as the concession rolled down the highway in real time. We miss him dearly but somehow Dallas Green to this day still seems to make it easier to cope. Thank you..thank you. You’ll never know how much impact and peace you brought to a man struggling with facing his mortality. And to everyone going through it with him. Amazing talent!!! Amazing song!! Thank you.

Ive always thought it was absolutely beautiful but after almost 15 years its taken on a whole new meaning, I find it hard to listen to now without shedding a tear.
