Jumpin, I wanted to add one thing to the unique Rev Grave for the Smithing Text (Devotional Helmet), that you showed at the end of the video. I was also trying to go for this, and kept having trouble, even with leading Obsidian Samurai to the corpse (he knew the guy, Mori Ranmaru, and was sad he had died there, I guess). There's apparently one additional step that I saw on the Nioh Reddit - which I'll link here: www.reddit.com/r/Nioh/comments/fvny79/ranmaru_mori_revenant_bug/ -- Basically, you also seem to have to Summon the two Blue Revenant graves of his brothers Boma and Riku (all 3 died defending Nobunaga that night at Honnoji, apparently). AND do the Helmet thing with Obsidian. Then Rori's grave should show up in the Warrior sub-mission. (I mention this just in case anyone else was having issues getting it to show properly. It's ridiculous how the Devs hid this one, lol)
I copied basically everything of this build , but i'm still 400 health and 200 stamina below your build, why?

Jumpin! you can two remodels on your weapons and armor! you can select one stat with triangle and then select your second stat with X to get a double A scaling on stamina and strength!

wow great guide still in the early game so hard to obtain ways to increase drop rate and luck, really grinding hard for that kamaitachi helmet and kingo armor but not much luck so far

Great vid Jumpin! I'm trying to also get 100% texts and currently at 85%. Lately getting almost 0 drops even for enemies that I'm missing texts for. Earlier in the grind I would consistently get a drop every 4 or 5 attempts at a boss. My luck is 261, item drop 46%, and also have extra item drop vs humans and Yokai, using Yokai Shift luck and item drop when I can. Any other tips? When you got close to 100% do the drops happen less frequently? Thanks, keep up the great videos.

i have kodama bowl but i dont have the same stat as you? what do i have to do to get those stat? im new to this game and on my ng+
You can remodel for both of them to be a-. Its the highest option once str and stam are both 99

How can you put moonlight snow in every parts???????!???
You can remodel for 2 stats. In this example, check stamina and outline strength in the remodel menu. Nice little bump for odachi damage.
Bro I use the dual swords and odachi should I remodel??? Or keep it stock cuz they both do share strength and heart and if I do remodel what should I do to maximize them both???
@@abagofchipzlol3667 Hey man, you can maximize both, if the attribute is on the weapon. When you remodel, you get to increase each attribute's scale. You'll have 4 options. In your case when you remodel, check one (either heart or strength) that increases damage. Then highlight the other (if it increases the damage. If not, just remodel the one attribute.) and confirm the remodel. Since it goes on scale, it just depends how many points are in each. You might not need to remodel both. Myself, I went with building up heart since it commands ki volume. Odachi sucks the ki lol. 99 heart, then I went strength and stamina.

Timothy Kinsey oh thanks man! So for your remodel what were the attributes on ur odachi? I take it heart would be A and then strength and stamina would be c or something??? Sorry man lol I haven’t unlocked remodeling yet so I don’t understand how it works yet LOL what would u recommend for me since remodeling is still locked? I plan only to ever use my odachi and dual swords I don’t really like any other weapon so since remodeling isn’t unlocked what stats should I specialize first??? They both share heart and strength so I got both of those to 25, but I’m only level 85 lol so don’t have that much points to put in stats yet
@@abagofchipzlol3667 oh man, I wouldn't worry about remodeling until ng+. Just pour as much as you can in heart and get heart scaling to A. I got to 99 heart then went strength and stamina because of poise. You have to have at least 200 toughness to not have your attack interrupted. That means you'll have to wear some medium/heavy armor. Just try to stay under 70% weight.

How did you get 68 life on boots after already inheriting Luck, Attack, and Moonlit Snow? Boots cap out at like half that naturally IIRC, so is it possible to overwrite a crappy life roll with a 64 orange inheritable on chest armor?
Great build btw. I had all the stuff ready for another Odachi build but couldn't decide which armor set to put it all on, so I repurposed it for this one instead. Don't have the soul cores setup yet, but even so I got half a dozen texts this morning just messing around with some duel missions. Did you ever try Firefly Blade or one of the corruption weapons?
You can use any weapon you want with this build. You can replace skills on your gear with an orange inheritable by pressing R2.

I was looking for this armor set from the first week of the game but I didn’t knew if it worth,thank you! One question please I didn’t understand how it’s important have more than 30 magic and how it affects to weakness and sloth talisman?
Higher magic power means better durations for buffs/debuffs. When trying to apply weakness/sloth in Co-op, it may take two instead of one. Magic power 600 is a good number imo.

Can anyone tell me how to get the dokisai's helmet smithing text? The guide says from the revenant Yamamoto Kansuke in 'Fallen Star' but ive noticed that the revenant's armor changes if you finish the mission then try again. Since it's taken me longer than any other text by far, I'm wondering if there's something im not doing right
Just spawn him, kill him and if he doesn't drop text, exit to menu and try again. It took me 5 accepts to get it.

How did you get luck on all the pieces of equipment I've used so much umbracite but can't get it on anything other then my helmet

would it be advantages to have a weapon in the first slot with the skills that are main weapon equip then have the weapon you want to use in the 2nd.
since you only get 30 skill points. you cant have this weapon moves and the main weapon equipped skills
No it only goes off what is equiped, weapon and ranged weapon
Is this build still viable with patch 1.15?
What is the difference in soulcore and sprit animal color. I do understand that all the spirit animal types work differently.
1) is there anyway to change spirit animal color?
2) Why would I want to change my soulcore powers to the color of my spirit animal?
3)Do I get passive bonuses from soulcores from my secondary spirit animal?
4)How should I go about maximising the effectiveness of my secondary spirit animal. I am running strenght stamina build with Kojaku spirit animal (bird) odachi.
Well there is one thing that is good for matching color, you can get a passive that returns Amina back to you while using your soul core if they match color. You have to use mortal soul cores to switch colors. You do get one bonus from secondary spirit at all times but you can always switch on the fly with R1 L2.

I cant seem to roll luck when tempering my child of the sun armor. Am i doing something wrong or is it just really rare.
It only comes on helmet, you will need to inherite the rest.

Hey how did you farm for your moonlit snow inheritable coz id like to farm windstorm or sign of tge cross
Go to Nioh 2 discord and trade with someone or do what i do and go to Dark Omens mission in Aftermath region (ng+) and farm revenants.
Also i have never seen a sign of the cross inherit so not sure its possible

How you do to get luck on cuirass,waistguard and greaves? I’m only able to temper luck in helm class and I see in your video the only piece with orange inheritable luck are gauntlets, you need to forge the pieces with luck?
Farm graves of players you will find orange luck helmet. Best mission was region 2 One Night Caste, water at beginning. There are communities of ppl who drop graves for duping if that can help you.
Thanks for reply i know about inheritable stuff I did some other builds but I believe you can only transfer one orange inheritable per piece
I check all my gear and turned out I have all the right stuff and now I understand it’s possible to transfer multiple orange inheritable in every piece,thank you so much!
Im sure this much luck results in deminishing returns cause i stacked luck and had no luck in getting smithing texts. Went to pure damage with my main build and farmed faster and found my drop rate increased. Maybe my rng was fucked up but i do know deminishing returns was a big thing in nioh 1
So just put item drop rate and luck on everything and go to town no matter the armor or weapon. Sounds easy enough. Thanks.
@JumpinProductions i didnt see you mention the option to choose two scaling stats when remodeling weapons. i wonder if you chose to remodel to both strength and stamina instead of one or the other, if you could get even more damage from the weapon scaling?!

No you would not have more damage if you use standard remodel compare to strength or stamina. The only way to come close is to have 99 in all three stats that boost standard remodel and with that you would have equal damage across all remodels.
@jumpin I think he means dual remodeling. You can press triangle on one stat and move to another in the remodeling menu and they will both usually get an a minus.

That is a hardcoded bonus to the yasakani magatama accessory. It is a rare drop from the final boss in NG, and a guaranteed drop from him in NG+.

for me am just using the armor and weapons i find +1 etc and leveling them up to feed them to my main gear.. dont think thats right tho.. first time playing

Well if you farm smithing text for child of the sun armor, you can forge it when ever but that mission is late in NG.

There is a mission in region 1 called the search and I think it is. You can get it off of player's graves and if you beat all ng+ missions you can get the smithing text

Better than farming for texts is for you to add me as a friend on PSN die while using the whole set on an easy mission and I farm your revenant. Boom got the whole set. 🤟🏼 Nicely dome vídeo btw.

calling this universal while you need 99 stam and 80 str means this is actually an axe build armor and nothing else, if you are really interested to wear it with B agility and still want to deal damage.

You brought up a point in the video where you said that since all the weapons in the game scale in some way from strength, that you could 99 Str and remodel weapons to scale from just strength. What I’m wondering is, would it be less damage for a weapon that doesn’t primarily scale from str? For example would having 99 heart and using sword have better damage than if you were 99 Str and made the sword scale from Str? Or making a kusarigama scale from Str? And so on? Can you confirm?
yeah it will. Scaling is usually A/A+ for main stat. Upscaling can go from poor, to, say a good A-. Some will head a bit lower. Remaking to scale with both Heart and Body would see more of a result though.
ManiZach Ah, so it’s like each weapon is sorta predisposed to scaling better off its primary stat? So being 99 strength and remodeling katana to strength will still be good, but not as good if I was 99 heart and using sword remodeled or not?
@@swordstyle6440 Pretty much. Remoddeling pretty much amplifies 1 or 2 scales, but doesnt give it the max, as you can get with say, the primary scaling stat for a weapon. In a sense, you should always try to remodel the primary and secondary that you have 99 of to maximize the damage.
But when it comes it secondary and third scaling, the difference is usually really low.
ManiZach Yeah for sure. I actually did run the 99 Str and remodel the weapons to scale with strength. It’s been great as a way for me to run whatever weapon I wanted, and mainly to get weapon proficiencies up. The biggest drawback other than non maximized damage is that it makes the dojo missions more difficult.
@@swordstyle6440 There's really no need for you to bother with that tbh. There's faster ways of getting proficiency to max with the weapons by having a (any rarity) wooden wepaon, and then go against the earth elemental. Youll max out your armor familarity, and your weapon proficiency in no time. At least from my personal experience.
Whenever I need to build a new set for a new build, you always need some inheritables, like in this video. Iai quickdraw. So, you pretty much smack two flies in one.
But all that matters in the end is how you find enjoyment in the game. You do you

i got tons of em, you get em from revenants they drop on gloves i believe.
I had a friend help me with that, he drop his grave with gloves with moonlit snow on it.

why your soul cores are wrong color compared to your spirit animal?
Because type of Yokai shift matters, brute orange, phantom purple, feral blue.

i've been playing this build for like 2 weeks or more and i gotta say it is pretty strong and god the loot in this game sucks. everyone needs luck.
By the way you should also use Soul Purge talisman because it enhances both luck and damage but it also stacks with power pill & tengen kujaku
180 +10 weapons in patch 1.11 easy. Just soul fuse cores to past rank 9.
Sorry cores will only get it to 180, you still have to get the pluses the hard way

No offense my dude, but this build is really unobtainable for most purple, I mean all of your gear is +5 or higher, all 7 of your special effects on most of your pieces are filled, that takes a lot of resources and time rerolling and farming, for people who want to do this build but don’t want to waste time getting a super duper high end build, this build is easily obtainable with exotic gear, just reroll item drop rate onto everything, run kodama bowl and soul core (you get the bowl from mission in second region, soul core from a sudama if your drop a soul core) run soul cores with item drop in Yokai shift (it’s innately higher than regular item drop), try to get luck on your soul cores, run guardian spirit itokuri (get it from dual swords dojo mission) and then use luckbringer. My luck build was made using all exotic and even some rare gear and I have 95% of smithing texts and 90% of the boss skills.
Also it’s been shown that item drop rate has more of an effect than luck, so keep that in mind.

This is a farming game. If you don’t like farming get another game. You guys are a trip.
