    Interesting video. Carenado really need to release a complete tutorial for this aircraft.

    I really like this version of the plane (compared to say the Virtualcol version) but hear so many people complain about how bad the navigation system is without installing the Flight1 GTN addon. Your video made sense after watching for the first time (will need several views for everything to sink in, lol). Do you still fly this plane ? Am tempted to get it just to do some short flights from Manchester to Aberdeen or flying from UK to Isle of Man or Guernsey etc. when have an hour to kill. I have the Virtualcol q400 and can just set a flight plan in p3d and be taking off within minutes. Is this an ok plane for doing that sort of stuff as well please ? I like the simplicity of the Virtualcol but would like a bit more eye candy that the Carenado offers.

    Thanks for video. 👏. How do you turn on the labels that appear when you put the cursor over a knob / switch? For example the SELECT dial. 😊
    Just found it in Options 😂

    With mine on P3D the alt select / course knobs don't function.. Am I in a wrong mode somewhere?

    • @Topofdescent55
      @Topofdescent55  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ryan Arthur strange about the Alt, but l think you need to be in NAV1 to change the CRS

      @@Topofdescent55 a year later I've bought the same AC for Xplane 11. Alt/CRS are working fine but I can't change 'GPS' to 'NAV' in the EHSI :D :D More than likely operator error!

      mctair grant press the DEV button (Dev Mode on) then rotate the SECTOR knob and it should appear

    Is there any checklist??

    • @Topofdescent55
      @Topofdescent55  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      NICOCRAFT yes most Carenado aircraft come with extensive checklists but sadly no real tutorials

    I fail to see how this is an FMC Guide....

    • @Topofdescent55
      @Topofdescent55  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      StarShooter010 well it says FMS not FMC and post me a link to your video when you upload it

      2 things, 1, I'v now noticed you have changed the title of the video showing that you admit you being wrong in titling your video, 2, I come on here to find someone else to make the video as at the time I needed a guide, of which you mis-titled your video, so you saying for me to upload a video of it kinda makes your comment lack sense and logic.

    • @Topofdescent55
      @Topofdescent55  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      StarShooter010 only one reson l changed the title, to stop getting comments like yours. And on your second point, it was impossible to know what you were looking for from the manner of the comment. There are many other ways you could've commented, like asking for help with the FMS? Then you might get a different answer
