Thank you so much for sharing your content...What tips would you give someone who will be flying an H125 for the first time as compared to an R66, I've heard that the landings need practice. thank you in advance !
You are in for some fun if you are moving to the H125! Tail rotor is really low so you will ALWAYS need to park the tail in a clear spot. Use a little right hand cyclic when lifting up as it sits right skid low. Left will pick up first and it will stop you drifting. As for landing, just keep your hands and feet still. You can plant a Astar like silk if you don't induce the squirrel!
Fly it like a Robbie and it will never bite you! Oh and power! Just you wait!!

Question what is the job of the # 3 helicopter the bell 206 landing on the fuel island
He is their bird dog. The fire officer on the 206 tells the Firecat pilots where he wants them to drop the water on the fire to get best efficiency. He also helps keep the other helicopters around them safe. Think of him like a mobile ATC unit. He is referred to as the HELCO - Helicopter Coordinator. Similar to the Birddog the tankers have.
