This man has singlehandedly cracked the future of education
all it took was being a quirked up white boy with a little bit of sauce
I came here to say this! These videos are amazing
@@adef Too bad he isn't busting it down... I don't think you tube will let me finish this
Don't let adef fool you! This isn't a mindless videogame video! It's actually informative and educational!
fuck man, i've fell for the same trick twice now... i don't wanna learn physics again....
Good thing I read this comment first, I almost learned something!
Popular opinion
I got sucked in by the zelda now I'm here learning actual math 😂
There is a sine wave in the background I think we're fine
First pokemon, now zelda.
Matching gaming content with good presentation, funny jokes and actual education is amazing. This is the sort of content I've been missing in my life fr
If any of my teachers taught anything like your content when I was younger, I would've been saved from being a music major.
being a music major is lit tho just gotta work hard and make connections and you can be just as successful doing what u love as all the other nerds who will have boring jobs
I can’t believe he pass away. But he is teach us from heaven. Thank you chef
Love the dedication to the demonstration by actually running a 400 lmao. Also the audio sounds great!
Your editing style and presentation pacing is addicting.
Lol the running segment 😂😂😂 not pass out but “pass away!” 😂😂😂
The pokemon video already had me hooked on your content but I've watched wind waker speedruns since before barrier skip was ever done so this is a great follow up!
2:28 mom I'm on TV!!!!
Loving these types of videos, super good work!
This ACTUALLY helped me understand wave-physics. This silly video about wind waker speed runs has helped me understand how waves work. That’s neat right there.
Had a smile on my face the whole time. I might like Wind Waker content a bit too much...
Great video
LMAO ty kirby!
Wait. Outset island. Outset...island...the island...of your outset. I'm so mad it took me a decade to realize this
The scene at the track made me feel like I was watching an episode of Bill Nye. Great video all around. Excited to see more of these!
I liked the show at GDQ, but seeing your videos just confirms how good of an entertainer you are.
I'll be here for the whole ride, cheers.
Sincerely hope to see more content like this. Looking at your channel it looks like this is a new format and you are absolutely rocking it. Subscribed.
This video is an absolute banger! great job!
You’re bound to blow up real big soon dawg your video style is one that people, especially me, love!
look at that man run
Funfact: the lack of a cap on negative velocity in video games is the reason why it's possible to drive in reverse faster than the speed of light in the notorious Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing
My dude ran an IRL lap to prove a point in speedrunning. subscribe to this man.
Great video! Super engaging. I liked the explanation and demo of the real life science terms and technology. It set up the Wind Waker explanations well.
Two of my favorite things are math and speedrunning, and you've combined them really well
It's so interesting to learn these things after watching tons of these speedruns!
If there are three things I love in a TH-cam video, they're Speedrun explanations, mathematics explanations, and some witty commentary.
Please turn this kind of thing into a series, I freaking love this content.
Your quality is so freaking amazing. I adore these videos so much dude.
As an engineer, I LOVE these videos! Taking a fun thing like video games and understanding a deeper meaning of it is what I like to do every day! Thank you sir
My arms hurt just thinking about this 😢
Fr tho great video, I'd always kinda understood these tricks so it's cool to get a proper explanation about why they work, also I got a better understanding for why it took me so long to get a BLJ to work (I was definitely mashing too fast)
Criminally underrated channel, this stuff ROCKS
Awesome video! I feel like I've found a hidden gem before your channel inevitably blows up and gets HUGE lol
Why doesn't this have at least 100k views, this is so good.
See world, video games CAN teach us important concepts like physics! XD
But in all seriousness, awesome video! I’m honestly shocked you don’t have more subs for how well produced your videos are. Keep up the great work! :D
Your explanation style is both informative and engaging. Really enjoying this style of video! :)
Really interesting video but damn my brain hurts. Adef being exhausted after running is relatable af
Thanks for the great video! I thoroughly enjoyed it! 😊
this has to be one of the most interesting and informative speedrunning videos i've seen, awesome work!
Just started playing Wind Waker a week ago. This video must be a blessing.
Never did i think math would be interesting, but good lord you've somehow pulled it off
this video is incredible. love the production of it and it’s so informative. also *spongebob pointing to himself in the video meme*. (also, down with Edison)
Your content is actually very good you should keep making more.
Another fantastic video, adef, keep them coming!
I like how your videos are fun and educational ^^ keep on going !
So impressed by these new videos man, can't wait for more!
Speedrunners: "I live my life one frame at a time."
I love your channel man, you talk about video games, which I love, and about maths, which I love because you always learn more of it (I dont particulary love maths other than the fact I love learning and probabilities).
I am in an eletrical class, to put it short the teacher did not even attempt to explain what a Hz is and just gave us the formula and let us figure out how alternating current works, and you explained it perfectly, in a video that has almost nothing to do with it!
Also I find it quite funny you showed a clip of only a couple seconds of a french guy speedrunning, and one of the chat messages talks about Clermont Ferrand (mmh I wonder the probability), not a particulary big city, but one in which my friend lives in, and I always joke about it because there is almost nothing there (it's in the middle of the empty diagonal in France, google it).
Keep up the good work!
The jokes are so smart I love it
Love these videos. The "science of" parts are always really interesting.
Your channel is such a gem! I’m really grateful to you for making science and math interesting
There are indeed waves in my walls
Gotta say man, I think you found a pretty interesting niche for content and I hope to see more going forward!
This is my new favorite kind of TH-cam content
Amazing video Adef, love the math related content you've been making recently! Also I laughed way too hard at the Javier segment.
last video a throwback to ap stats, this one to ap physics C, all related to video games, love it. great stuff
I'm absolutely loving these video essays!
This is like if Bill Nye was a gamer. I love this content.
Absolutely loving this content!!
This video rocks! Can't wait to see what you cover next
I can’t understand most of what you say but you remind me of a friend I used to had who pretended to tolerate me and he was pretty funny in a more intelligent than me kind of way, so I subscribed.
The Edison attack was grand. Thanks for that. I subbed 😂
These are great. Keep it up!
You are INSANELY GOOD at breaking this down and visualising it, AND keeping viewer attention! DANG! This strikes me as a genuinely great teaching resource, at least in format. Nice!
Great vid. Love the math stuff! Please, more!
adef + edutainment videos = a match made in heaven.
Definitely see you hitting 100k subs soon, great videos man!
Uh excuse me, Javier bought me my rig
Oh wait
These have been fantastic videos so far, incredibly well put together
I'm loving these!
I'm so here for these educational videos.
Neat analysis video! Thanks for uploading!
My history of Adef content:
Watching you host Etchys Plat starly% and your banter with him
Me searching the gdq TH-cam for fun randomisers and seeing your all-sanity run a few months ago
Me: wait he did a math video with Pokemon? Subscribing for that
Me: dying with laughter through your sense of humour
I love these videos! Learning about math whith speedrunning tricks is a fun and engaging concept! I hope you keep it up :D
Love your videos dude! Hppe you blow up soon, you deserve way more subs
Natural in front the camera too
Edison slander always earns a like
god ur such a nerd and I'm a big fan of that plz never stop
looking good adef
keep it up keep developing these content ideas
As a teacher, I find a lot of educational content incredibly frustrating when a) I can't understand the content I'm turning to for help and b) even if I understand the content, I know that I may have trouble sharing it with other people who don't have the necessary background knowledge. I can't say enough how much I appreciate your breakdown of the mechanics in a way which is helpful for both gamers and laypeople, and none of it feels patronizing. Whether it's a passion project or a means to support yourself, I hope to enjoy more of your content in the future!
I LOVE these videos :) Keep it up buddy
You cured my migraine better than 800mg of Motrin ever could (not a joke, thank you)
Wow this is like the nichest channel i've seen yet my adhd brain feels right at home, instant sub !
Another really good video 🙌
Love adef doing real life speed running
you should do the full breakdown of this run, itd be long, but itd be incredible.
Amazing video, more math content pls and ty :)
This was cool as hell, thank you!!!
what a great video i live to wait for more
fantastic video!
Yes another really awesome video!
This guy really dose make maths fun lol
2:50 THERE I AM GARY THERE I AM! 👉
This was a wonderful watch!!! 💚💚💚
Finally, someone who can teach me math and physics in a language I understand.
I was there😂 I have flashbacks from stream 😅nice video !🎉🎉🎉
I am surprised that the infamous Linkus7's selfie with one of his arm getting disproportionately bigger than the other purely because of MSS wasn't in the video. This trick is so physically demanding it can build up muscle mass.
I remember when these were first implemented in runs. We all died inside
HE MADE ANOTHER COOL VID YES literally frothing at the mouth for more content like this you're so cool
Just watched that Pokemon vid, now this... and what can I say, you got me hooked dude, yeah I'll subscribe
another banger video my liege
You missed a bit of explanation about resetting the analog stick to avoid neutral inputs for the MSS, though avoiding that to keep it simple is probably fine. Great video!
Holy shit he basically mentioned 0.5 A presses
Great vid, my forearms got tired thinking about trying to do this
I've only seen a few vids and I like your videos but If you don't mind me asking, what's your background in math?
As I find these calculations interesting and I'm curious how one gets that good at it, I suck at math personally.
