This mission is great but with all of the new decisions and missions available in ng+ and ng++ the Fires of Raven ending feels more appropriate for the first playthrough, at least if you want to play all missions and endings
It’s kinda sad that rusty basically depleted his ac fighting those ships and then someone kills him just after we win. My man basically got ambushed after a pyrrhic victory
Probably my favorite mission so far, with the music and zipping around blowing sht up and dodging etc is great, feels like an episode out of a gundam series lolz.
This mission gives off strong Ace Combat Zero vibes during the mission where you're liberating your capitol city Directus. Especially when you get the background chatter of the Rubicons fighting. Super cool vibes
It's a really nice touch that Rusty's emblem has been a muzzled wolf this whole time but then on this mission it's changed to not have the muzzle anymore.
I struggled with this game, put it down and thought of never coming back but hearing hey buddy actually was one of the best moments of any game I’ve ever had
Honestly, as hopeful as the Liberator path is, Ayre ignoring the blatant risks of Coral does rub me off the wrong way. The Fires of Raven might be the 'good' ending in that it removes the potential threat that Coral poses to humanity as a whole. An entire planet is destroyed, yes, but now nobody can use the Coral for any purpose good or bad. There's also the NG++ ending but I'll say nothing about that to prevent spoilers for those who care about that stuff. Still, at least we get to fight alongside Best Boy Rusty in the Liberator path.
@@SuperBadadan Not exactly. With Coral being self-propagating in Armored Core, that means even nonhuman lifeforms are capable of becoming big threats to humanity.
crazy how different mindsets are. For Arq balteus i used reverse joint pilebunker build with earshot, and shredded him. took only 3 tries, so seeing cowboys builds struggle made me really appreciate how different builds can be
The ALBA AC Rusty uses was a way to sneak in a Gundam Like AC and you can't convince me otherwise. The Mecha designer even worked in shows like Gundam 00 and it shows.
If you went with the Fires of Raven ending first I'd honestly say you made the right call. The game is structured for multiple playthroughs and the new options unlocked in new game + fit much better with the liberator ending, so if you want to play everything I'd say the best route is fires -> liberator -> third
I love watching you play but I do bot understand your fascination with killing absolutely everything. It slows you down so much... Maybe I am just tired today but for some reason I found it really frustrating this video... Not that my opinion on this matters because you play how you play, which is a thing I like about you... wooo I am an oxymoron. Oh well.
This mission alone is worth taking the Liberator path. Fighting alongside the best buddy and taking down Snail on a hype as hell soundtrack? Oh yes!

Coral poses as much a threat to humanity as humanity poses to the coral, neither one deserves to die because of perceived risk management
