I’m playing part of this for my college audition!
It's weird. The player has pretty good style, but the sound is weirdly not refined, it sounds sort of like a jazz sound
Sounds good to me.
It does sound very bright, and the tone for this piece would be better suited with a much darker tone. Not all sax music is jazz.
I hear you but I think its kinda cool
Maybe I'm just weird, but the tone reminds me of Marcel Mule
@@robertperez2262 I don’t think this is jazz simply because it’s sax music. I don’t think it’s jazz at all. I’m just saying the player sounds like a jazz player trying to play classical sax (only because of the tone quality). Still think they did a great job with the piece
1:48 through 2:40 is part of my college audition
You helped me find the part I was looking for
How’d it go?
Glazunov 5 sinf
The player is Sarah Dunbar
Too fast at the andante! (In my personal opinion.) Look, I loooooved playing the andante because that was where I could really sing! I milked it for all it was worth. I'm sorry if my comment seems rude or unappreciative - I put my soul into this piece!
Who's the player?
Dr. Sarah Dunbar

What good is the music if you can't get rid of the soloist and play along yourself?
