    How high are you setting your hook on the drop shot? When they're tight to the bottom in the rocks like that, how far up will they chase?

    • @ClaytonSchickOutdoors
      @ClaytonSchickOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      About 18-24" If they are tight to the bottom you can drop it a little lower yet if needed.

    Do you have a video that explains drop shot fishing? Hook size? Weight? How many inches is the weight below the hook? I would love to see a walkthrough of the whole setup. Thanks for the great content.

    Thanks for the tips on drop shots! Tobin was producing all this week. Right out right in front of serenity bay resort (22-25 ft) was the best bite for size. Couple days in a row Hammered 10+ red zones an outing. Got my new PB (28”) on a drop shot. My wife also got her new PB (27 3/4) on a pink jig. Pink/yellow for jigs and spinners were good. Leeches were the go too. The river was a little slower, worms on slow deaths were okay. Biggest out the river was 25 3/4. Can’t wait for the Tobin and Dief videos! Thanks for the tips/tricks and for all the great content!

    Why don't you use your trolling motor to control the boat? Gas is expensive. Just curious, not being rude.

    • @ClaytonSchickOutdoors
      @ClaytonSchickOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't have a rear trolling motor, and you will never get the same boat control with the front of your boat than you can with the back into the wind. :)
