Honestly I think it looks great! And I love the fact that it's a REAL SUV with a frame and not some stupid unibody crossover and therefor faithful to the original. You guys did a great Job! I hope you offer a woodgrain exterior on this. That was the trademark of the original and I think It should at least be offered as an option to make it truly faithful to the original.

FINALLY! There is a time and place for everything... and someone at Jeep heard the call that it was time for the new Wagoneer. The first vehicle I bought was a Jeep (Wrangler). I have owned an '89 Grand Wagoneer for 15yrs now. I would be proud to drive the new one and will! Let us not forget what was on the roads in 1962 when the original was being finished. It was the most expensive American automobile. Neither car, truck or van.

Both the 2022 Cadilac and Lincoln capitalized on Jeeps fall here. Look that how both companies nailed the midline of their respective vehicles in the way the original Grand Wagoner did but for some reason Jeep abandoned in the 2022 GW. Honestly if you put a Jeep badge on the 2022 Navigator it looks more like a Grand Wagoneer than this generic SUV does.
For 60 days my Jeep has been sitting at a dealership because Jeep doesn’t make parts for it’s vehicles. Today I’m told maybe the dealership will get the part I need on May 20th, MAYBE! Next time you think about pulling into a Jeep dealership to buy a Jeep, think of how long you are willing to wait if your vehicle happens to need a part. Jeep thinks 105 is not too long for me to wait.
Thanks Jeep and everyone over at Stellantis bring back the greatest american icon into the modern times and you know im proud for bringing Jeep models like the Compass, Wrangler, Gladiator and Renegade in my country. I hope a Heritage Edition comes for the Grand Wagoneer with the wood side paneling. Certain colors, regular wood paneling, on others, black and white wood paneling. It would be fake wood of course.

I am really hopeful that these two variants will win awards and will be a match for the other top-of-the-range brands. If this thing can tow 9,800 pounds that is like best-in-class SUV and what is needed for everyone with campers. They need to get this on the market ASAP.
That independent air bag suspension is going to be a service nightmare. Older Grand Cherokee owners frequently shelling out 3-4k to fix10 year old cars. Just make sure you trade it in at 36k miles.
I get it, but I'm not the target demographic. I like the blend of practicality, luxury and especially the sporty nature of my Grand Cherokee. Too much focus on luxury here. The reason the Wagoneer was so beloved is they lasted. I don't see this surpassing the warranty before electrical issue after electrical issue cheapens the experience.

It's nice, but without some sort of woodgrain on the exterior it just doesn't have the same feeling to me. That's what i love about by '88 .. also the hood ornament ;)

Things I wish this Grand Wagoneer (or the longwheel base in 2023) will have: - Third row entertainment screens optional package - Plug-in-hybrid - Have the pillars in black (as an option maybe for those that thinks it looks better that way) - The window on the rear-trunk that can slide down and up electrically.

Hopefully the engines have improved. My Grand Cherokee came out with a serious engine failure. The coolant leaked into the cylinders, I imagine due to failed seals or gaskets, and now the car is priced at $8,000 to fix it. Yes, $8,000. The engine has to be redone and the brand completely disregards this fault, which is a manufacturing fault. The car has 70,000 km and is impeccable. Never crashed. How do they expect such a serious failure to be considered the user's responsibility ?? AMAZING !!

Um, incorrect. The Mustang doesn't have a Ford logo. The corvette doesn't have a Chevy logo. The new Bronco doesn't have a Ford logo. Iconic names don't need brand logos to make the connection.
The JL Wrangler does not have JEEP on the hood like the JK model did and I think they've sold just fine. The seven slot grill is more iconic than the word Jeep on the hood.

Just watched the 3/11/21 reveal film and as beautiful as the Grand Cherokee is...I'm missing the distinctive wood exterior detail. It's a real miss because the design world is full of very sophisticated (and approachable) ways to integrate wood grain into our life products. The Grand Cherokee is iconic as part of this design treatment and now, it just blends in too much.

Who saw no v6 offering? Me! I kept reading these articles leading up to ever since the debut of the concept people that standard equipment would be pentastar V6 on base models people are crazy thinking Jeep would have put a dinky v6 in any version of this massive SUV. when building a brand such as this a sub brand of an already luxury brand that's even more luxurious there is a certain standard you have to keep

We've got the New GC 2 tow and the Wagoneers now and still no word on any new engine, and this was alleged to be it debut. Somebody said it’s best to keep your mouth shut Then to open it and remove all doubt that you know nothing About what you’re speaking of. The inline 6 is coming development time for a new engine especially all new engines from the ground up takes an incredible time & money. Expect to see it no later than the mid cycle refresh in 2 1/2 years
My grandma had a commander and we had to get rid of it it because the 4.7 V8 had a cracked head gasket! We bought another Jeep, and will NEVER leave Jeep!!!!!
I am just glad they did not simply rebadge a Durango and called it a day. A little more distinction between this and the upcoming Grand Cherokee L would have been nice.
My mom and dad got a grand cherokee 6 months ago and now that’s my most favourite 4x4, if I get a credit card and turn 20 I’ll probably buy a grand wagoneer and take it off-roading
Don't go into debt this early on, save and invest into ETFs like QQQ, by 30 you still have plenty years ahead, but you'll be able to afford more things you dream of and enjoy life.

Love the tech, safety & interior . IMO the exterior styling was a missed opportunity. The classic Jeeps were so unique they should have capitalized on that more. The classic was so distinctive people would know iimmediately what it was. No mistaken the classic Jeep. Many may think this one is a Grand Cherokee L. or not even know what it is. A retro design and the faux wood sides is a look that you don't forget! I sure hope it sells.
Beautiful luxury vehicle but I hope they come out with one in reach to the average person or family. I was shocked by the original quote of $65k for the Gladiator but later able to lease one in my reach. I hope Jeep does the same with Wagoneer. I recall lots of families having the original Wagoneer back in the day. I see it as being very out of reach for lots of people due to the COVID as well....
uhhhhhh the q7 is half the price my man - this thing is 100k+. i think your wanting the grand cherokee L. the grand wagoneer is the size of a navigator / escalade. a body on frame beast, not a 5+2 crossover

Wrangler 4xe and 392, Grand Cherokee L, Grand Wagoneer, all this awesome vehicles are eating up the hype of upcoming ev's and I love it.

2) Don't even bring in the new i6. We've got the New GC 2 tow and the Wagoneers now and still no word on any new engine, and this was alleged to be it debut. Unless they're gonna say something with the announcement of the 2 row GC that can seriously be written off as a pipe dream at this point

Somebody said it’s best to keep your mouth shut Then to open it and remove all doubt that you know nothing About what you’re speaking of. The inline 6 is coming development time for a new engine especially all new engines from the ground up takes an incredible time & money. Expect to see it no later than the mid cycle refresh in 2 1/2 years

Love the tech, safety & interior . IMO the exterior styling was a missed opportunity. The classic Jeeps were so unique they should have capitalized on that more. The classic was so distinctive people would know iimmediately what it was. No mistaken the classic Jeep. Many may think this one is a Grand Cherokee L. or not even know what it is. A retro design and the faux wood sides is a look that you don't forget! I sure hope it sells.

I was shocked by the original quote of $65k for the Gladiator but later able to lease one in my reach. I hope Jeep does the same with Wagoneer. I recall lots of families having the original Wagoneer back in the day.
