New Wrangler 4xe owner here. It's good to know that the brake light comes on when the max regen is on, and the accelerator pedal is lifted. The car slows fairly quickly. I wondered about that -- now I know!
I ordered one a couple months ago. Suppose to ship today. Saying I was excited is an understatement for sure!
How have you liked it this past year?

I currently own a 3.6L V.6 Rubicon. But for my next Jeep, I would definitely consider buying a Gladiator, if it came in a 4xe option 👍🏻

I wish the regenerative brake stay on all the time!! Every time I start it up, I have to push the button! Any information to make the regenerative button stay on all the time?
Maybe staying in hybrid? I always have mine in hybrid and I never mess with the regen button it stays on!

Why not just put that function into the brake pedal? Light braking = max regen.
A really late answer, maybe not helpful to you now but perhaps helpful to someone: With max regen off, you get regenerative braking with the brake pedal just as you described. The combination of regenerative braking and regular mechanical brakes is called "blended braking." It's just a choice of how you want to drive.
