My Uncle is selling me his same exact w211 …it’s white with a black glass looking top in the pic. Same year. 4 matic. Thanks because this video makes me excited to see my car tomorrow! $6K I hope I’m not getting ripped off but if so it’s ok because he took great care of the car only just about at 100K right now. ♥️
Totally agree with you, I’ve bought used Lexus vehicles, amazing cars for not much money! I’ll never understand why people spend fortunes on brand new cars that aren’t even nice lol.
I’ve owned one exactly like this one for almost 6 years and I have to say.... it has been the best freaking car ever!!! ZERO issues other than a thermostat replacement ($110USD)... I bought mine for $11K USD with 100K miles and I truly feel that it has paid for itself because I drove all the way from Canada to the center of Mexico three times plus a bunch of miles inside the US and it has great comfort and great gas mileage with great engine power !! DIY friendly and reliable... I love it!!
There’s one going for 10K with 125K miles on it…. Thinking about getting it… should I ? Lol only thing is I’m thinking about the expensive parts if need be to be replaced etc…
@@Enzo-tg8uo buy one cheap, and run into the ground, i bought 2000 model and electrics like windows and other stuff eventually broke, but the drive line was bullet proof.
@@Enzo-tg8uo I guess -like with any other car- you need to look at the condition of the car. You need to get a feel for the engine, transmission, suspension etc. Take it for a good drive. This is actually the second W211 Mercedes that we’ve owned. The first one was a 2004 E500 4Matic which we had for about a year and a half until we hit a deer and the car was totaled. That car was also a great car. Here in the Midwest I’ve seen similar ones like the one from the video that run around $8K with around 120K miles. I wouldn’t call it a bargain but once you start driving in a few inches of snow Long story short, if I was in the market again for a car, I would very likely consider getting another one! Also, despite the car now being 15 years old (Mine is from July of 07 as a 2008 model), it still looks and feels incredibly modern with all the LED lighting on the exterior and the digital displays inside. I am really enjoying driving it thus far!

Lol...what a sales pitch! of all the compartments where you can stash weapons and narcotics. This is absolutely a gorgeous car, and by far one of the best years.
I just paid cash for a heavily depreciated car identical to this one in grey. It is truly a nice car and in excellent condition even with 100k miles on it. I also drive a pretty nice diesel pickup but only ever get compliments on my Mercedes haha
I absolutely love this car. I have a 2018 E300 now and honestly this one is more elegant than mine. I do love mine but I really hate the 4 cylinder, I do have to say Mercedes did something to make it sound like a 6 cylinder when you accelerate it doesn’t sound like a 4 cylinder . It’s a lease so I more than likely will get the GLE 450 next. Or maybe even something like this!
These are brilliant looking machines that are also superb to drive (especially in AvantGarde trim level, with slightly lowered suspension, in E500 or AMG guises). I’ve owned one for over tens years, one of the first E350s built, in Feb 2005. Yes, it has innovative SBC brake by wire and I love it… hydraulic fluid is essential to SBC, the brakes still need bleeding, etc. and the issue, as you call it, the reason to hate, I presume, was the SBC Pump-which it is totally normal to hear at certain times (but non-enthusiasts take an instant dislike). M-B has extended the warranty on this pump. I expect M-B to innovate, which is why so much technology in the E-Class and S-Class appears in them many years before it becomes routine in lesser vehicles. In Australia, my E350 cost $135,000 Au in 2005-and the superb drive (and safety) proves that every one of those dollars is working hard for you. There are certain issues with earlier versions of the M272 engine-regardless it, and the car, are capable of hundreds of thousands of kilometers-BUT only if you understand a strict, frequent, deep maintenance program with significant expense is absolutely essential for longevity and reliability. BTW, it was the early W211 that was criticized as “cheap” compared to previous machines like the superbly built W124 chassis. This is because Chrysler got its low class hands on Mercedes-Benz (Daimler-Chrysler) by purchasing a share before the W211 chassis was released. By the time of your 08/09 W211, I understand Chrysler’s influence was erased and quality is better even than my brilliant 02/2005 machine. PS: I loved the single wiper in my W124-it never had an issue-and its complex motion was a joy to observe-for those that enjoy clever engineering.
You are funny and entertaining the car is nice too. I have the exact model. Bought back in 2011 with about 27K miles for $28K back then, still have it, at 127k miles now.
This Sport is in beautiful condition. Mine is 4matic black/black and about to turn 140k miles. Love these cars. Very surprised to see the saddle interior with silver. Would be a deal killer for me. Still a great example with low miles. Good job presenting your vehicles. Thx

While it would take some time for me to come around to the color combination, I have to say I really like the interior of the car.
