I feel like Rick deserves an Emmy for his performance in this episode alone. When he is being forced to cut Carl's arm off, I felt that. The anxiety, how scared he was, that hopeless feeling taking over. I don't ever want that to happen again, even though it was amazing acting.

I also think Jeffery Dean Morgan should be up for one as well. He and Rick did an amazing job.

The Not tragic, it's the internal language of their marriage. He is also a veteran and is used to using hand signals to communicate when you can't talk. So I thought it was very appropriate for the character.

also considering the shit he's been through as well, and yeah he's always playing the role of a strong leader and to see him become so vulnerable like that really hits you in a way.
Imagine running away in a forrest controlled by Negan, getting caught, seeing two of your allies being brutally killed in front of your familly and friends, getting grabbed and beaten by negan, being thrown in a fog full of zombies with a pyschopath nearby, and then being forced to see your son drop an arm or all your people killed. Hell yeah Rick was going to cry like a little bitch, and getting slapped like a litttle bitch too man nobody could take that shit.

Andrew Lincoln should’ve gotten an award for his portrayal of Rick Grimes. There’s so much to him, the pure intensity he emits is absolutely incredible, he would be an exceptionally hard role to play.
I also think Melissa McBride deserves an award for the role of Carol Peletier. The character development was portrayed phenomenally. She went from being abused and scared, to truly merciless. The way shes depicted her is just perfect.
Coming back here to watch in 2019 again I still feel that sense of dread, coldness and anxiety in me. It's one of the most powerful episode ever.
By far the best episode of the show. Nothing can ever give that feeling again.

Best scene from the whole episode was the performance Rick put on when he was about to cut off Carl's arm... That acting level is insane. Loved the deaths in terms of comic accuracy for Glenn I'm just super happy it stayed true to the comic. I can't believe I got a shoutout right at the end of the video that's so dope :)

The guy in the black shirt in the front middle....he got it. He gets it, it was all about that look Rick kept giving Negan. That look was spawned by all that Rick and crew had been through and survived through, and that's why this episode was so good, because Negan was intent on changing that look; totally subjugating Rick. Alone and in front of his people, he had to let Rick know who was boss and what was what.

Dude, you guys don't have come on here and compete for which death was more tragic or to be contrarian. They were both good, many people just have more of an attachment to Glenn because he has been there since season 1, has humanity more than any other character on the show that was still alive, and is one of the only Asian-Americans represented properly in Western Television with no crazy stereotypes flying around.
Abraham doesnt fear death anymore. Remember he almost took his life if not for Eugene accidentally meeting him and telling him about the cure (which is bogus).

That was a very stupid decision by Rick though. If only he chopped off carl's arm then carl would have gotten a prosthetic arm, an oil rig, grow a beard and ponytail, steal every nuclear weapon in the world and then defeat negan in an awesome metal gear fight.

I'm more upset that Abraham died. We had a hero that started to finally believe he could lead a normal life. He started getting excited at the possibility of a "happily ever after." There was still much more to learn about Abraham. Not to mention he was one of the few badasses the group had left.
I feel like Glenn's character progressed beyond anything we thought possible.

haha, those were my thoughts too about a year ago. This channel is a bunch of friends with a good sense of humor who watch and genuinely react to the best TV shows currently on air. They also like to do funny and inspired skits about those shows. It is pretty good entertainment.
Reaction videos are half genuine, half show. Some are worse than others. The real genuine ones are the ones where the viewer is unaware they are being recorded. When the camera is on someone and the whole point is to react, then they reACT.

In my opinion, Negan has already made some massive mistakes. The first is letting Rick live - Rick as their leader should have been the definite one to get it as the others would be left leaderless and very unlikely to rebel against Negan in the future. The second is the use of over the top excessive brute force - I think I saw a bit of hesitation in his henchman himself when he asked for the pen to mark Carl's arm. Don't count out his henchmen turning against him in the future.
And the fact that arguably the most shaken person of the group, Maggie, wants immediate revenge on Negan, just goes to show how much his overall plan to intimidate them has failed. Yeah, Rick might be severely shaken, but I doubt that's going to last long. All in all, yeah, Negan is a psycho, but he's a bit of an idiot too; his plan is far from flawless.
