Part 2 of our travels throughout Tassie. We visit the coldest inhabited town in Australia, Liawenee. We loved the spectacular scenery through Campbell Town where we try our first Scallop pie (a Tasmanian staple). Then on to the historic towns of Evandale, Beaconsfield, Yorktown, Scottsdale and St Helens. This countryside is so pretty and picturesque, our cameras just don’t do it justice. No wonder the 'Mainlanders' are buying up real estate here, sight-unseen!

Hi guys I love what you're doing I can't wait to to get myself a Motorhome and do some road trips last year 2022 was a big one for ME because I've got Bowel Cancer I had my operation on the 2.2.22. In Wollongong hospital I was in for 18Days my No 2 Operation went very well on the 30.11.22. Hi Camp winnie, Just watched your great video (part 2) Just was wondering what town was that where the beach with the island off it (you can walk to) just after when you were at the little blue lake? And what town was that lovely curved white beach after when you were at the blow hole at Doo town? I have been to Tassie a lot but never seen these 2 lovely places... thanks
Hi Julianne, isn’t Tassie just gorgeous? The island you are referring to that you can walk to (only during low tide) is called Diamond Island it’s just before you drive into Bicheno. It’s simply stunning especially from the sky. The other beach was on Blowhole Rd on the way to Doo Town, just past Tasman Arch Conservation Reserve. Glad your enjoying our videos. 😀
