I am so disappointed that no one in my circle found this amazing!!! So I turn here to share my love for this skit…
Benedict's falsetto is on point, but when Bowen harmonizes with him at the end...PERFECTION
The falsetto getting higher with each chorus was just perfection.
Okay but why was Benedict Cumberbatch so good in this tho? Not only was he hitting those high notes, but his dance moves, and singing was mesmerizing. Could have listened and watched them sing and dance to this song forever. Cumberbatch is hilarious and one of the best SNL hosts hands down. Love when a host actually tries. He not only learned his lines, but acted them out brilliantly.
10/10 sketch “Oh pizza pie in the pizza sky, deliver me. Deliver me.” is going to be stuck in my heads for days 😂

Benedict’s singing is bringing everything to these sketches. His pairing with Bowen Yang was comedy gold and adorable
Cecily’s last line of“Cold linguini, Pepperoncini, where did we go wrong? Romaine is all that remains” SEALED this song for me. I can’t count how many times I’ve watched this 😂😂

Benedict Cumberbatch dressed up as an 80s Popstar dressed up as a dogman in a suit for a gig at Chuck E. Cheese singing "the pizzapie in the pizza sky, deliver me, deliver me" in a falsetto-voice is something I never wanted but now can't live without!
Cumberbatch was so good at this act he made the chorus sound like a legit hit song.
SNL needs to put this track on all streaming services. I want this to be my ringtone, my answering machine, my first wedding dance, and maybe the last song played at my funeral.
This only further proves that we need a return to melancholy, high concept, overly dramatic art school style new wave. Unironically, I love that stuff.
Benedict singing is ICONIC. Those high notes!
I just love how this British 80s band fully committed to the chuckEcheese venue while keeping their artistic license
