Thing is, they usually stomps game one. Shaky game two starts then somehow one teamfight won and the game ends (sadly not happened with FOX and KT match)
@@ThangDamMinh what people dont realize is they look shaky because prepared strategy of enemy team not because they play bad but never ever you could prepare for t1 engage is so perfect that you need to spar with them for year to be able to flag all engage angle
this is a trend in T1 main team. they adapted the same mentality. this is a good thing abt this T1A comp. esp smashiee is such a good aggressive adc and rekky playing good. but T1A game 2 is always a classic. flip or flop.

Totally unrelated, but what did Caedrel mean when he said it was a T1A classic Rekkles plays Jhin, Smash plays Bard during game 2 draft? (Wasn't invested in the CL series; only now)

Last split rekkles played jhin and smash played bard. Cause Rekkles is a good jhin player and smash really enjoys diffrent champs.
@@Why_Do_I_Need_A_Handle_Name During the spring split, they did occasionally do these kinds of swaps because Smash has a really weird champion pool, including champions like Rumble and Bard, so when they wanted to play one of those champs, they would swap Rekkles back to adc, where Jhin was his go-to pick (good weakside champ to enable the Rumble/Bard to roam).
@@doomse150 I think the reasoning was more that Rekkless champion pool was minimal during spring split, they were lucky Smash was also good at some support champs.

Its simply the fact that Rekkles is a really really good Jhin and as doomse said it was a good match to their playstyle focusing much more on playing for topside rather than playing for botside. Rekkles played alot enchanters and mage supports. His engage supports werent that good. Smash really enjoys playing weird stuff and they did practice that actually. Swapping them to see if it could work. Its a crazy option to have actually.
After the first split of getting reversed swept everytime, T1A took it personally for summer

That's true I guess, he was just involved in all the kills T1A had in both games, it's easy to miss when someone is only involved in 100% of the team's kills. He just peeled his adc and followed up on great engages by a much more reliable and safer engage option in Sejuani, such a KDA playstyle. He should flash in, die 8 times, and try to make hero plays, instead of trying to do whatever he was doing that led them to win the game. After all, if you can't make a hero play, might as well lose the game and int. It's solo queue after all.

Dude that game two was such an exercise in mental resilience for Dal. Bro got shafted his entire lane phase, struggled for 35 minutes against a raid boss and still kept focused and clawed his way back into the game.

It would not have mattered, but I really like that Dal teleported on that cannon minion after the last fight was won, to prevent Ashe from killing it and potentially stalling the game.
Man this is why I love caedrel the drafts and game analysis is on point, I wish that he covered EWC though I understand his reasons of why he didn't..

@@iSa_Ach Leaving a comment to also get the answer :D It could be because the EWC is part of a strategy to make saudi arabia (which has BIG problems with human rights) look better in the public eye. Travis explained it really well in his vid "Why I will not Cover or Watch the Esports World Cup". If Caedral has the same reasons, that would make me an even bigger fan, but I dont know yet.

I see ppl talking about rekkles kda and not engaging but we also got to remember his Korean wouldn’t be that good and to decide when to engage requires communication which obviously will be a challenge for him, but I think it is really smart of him to know what his role is in this game and what are his strengths and weaknesses
You think he got POG without engaging? He had some really good engages, even Caedrel called them out, but people only see and hear what they want to see. There is no communication problem anymore, just a perception problem from some of the fans.
Some top comments really nailed it. He simply doesnt need to engage first with a sejuani in his team. He simply follows on the engage, cause seju has the safer and longer engage.
And he did good choices, peeling when needed to , going for the solo knock up on safe kills and going for 3 man knock ups in bigger teamfights to give time and space.
