Cat fight is on my top 10, because it is like the retro songs like piano man. All great songs, but then everything mamamoo does is great. I have seen a fan cam of a fanmeeting where they did Cat Fight. They were wearing thin tops and skirts or slacks, like you might see your wife or girlfriend wearing after a long day of work and you come home and she is ready. In the video, they are wearing Cat ears, looking good and my bias Solar has her hair in a high ariana grande style ponytail. the dancing is retro but sexy as expected. The very end with Hwasa finishing, the choreo is the cats all look away from each other like its over but the very last note, Hwasa looks at the audience, like she won the fight. Good luck if you can find a video you can use for a reaction.
At this point Melting is a time capsule from Mamamoo's adolescence, which seems like a funny way to put it given the depth, range and maturity of their artistry on these b-sides. Haven't listened to these songs in a while so it was fun to revisit them with you. At one point I noticed we were doing the same chair dance lol. Looking forward to Byul's reverse birthday present for us as well as Solar's annual kpop medley, which I assume will be with Cosmic Girl as usual. You probably noticed Hwasa dropped a live video of Grey Christmas today that she made in collab with Park Woosang. It's interesting that she made this song and the theme song for her tv show with Park Woosang but hasn't released a solo album since he left RBW, though she was reportedly working on one earlier this year. I've started to wonder whether she's going to hold off on a new solo album until her contract with RBW expires in July, then move to another label (JYP?) and make an album with PWS producing like he has on all her solo projects up til now.
