"Nick Fury has heard the Mad Titan has returned... What a headache. Fury would love to figure out a solution but he's putting out fires left and right (apparently there's a VENOM Goblin?). He puts together a team of genius minds to figure out how to handle the situation. Beast, Iron Heart and Moon Girl to tackle the issue. It was suggested that Bruce Banner can lead the team with his knowledge of cosmic radiation. Maria Hill is sent to supervise. With any luck, the Mad Titan would have the infinity gauntlet ripped away from him with a combination of these genius minds... And a well placed dosage of HULK SMASH!!!" What a great ending with one BIG PUNCH! The assembled team of geniuses on the first few turns was marvelous to see.
Thanks Ritsy! That’s crazy, this deck was designed with a focus on power and has even been criticized for its lack of theme, but the way you worded everything makes everything fit together. Nick Fury & Maria Hill gathering a team of geniuses 😂💯 i really enjoyed that
As someone that is pretty good at expert but has difficulty with certain heroes or the hardest villains watching games like this really motivate me. I would have never guessed Hulk could win a drawn out game like this against expert Thanos. Was a really fun watch. Also really enjoyed @RitsyReelz thematic story for the deck.
Hulk works extremely well in two ways. Really fast or really slow. If you build a giant board state of resources and card draws as is done here than Hulk becomes a monster in late game scenarios!
Thanks nalicar! I totally agree, Thanos is difficult to rush down because he’s so tanky so i thought it would be a good showing for buildout Hulk. I really enjoy watching people break limits i had on the game and loved Ritsy’s story too 😂💯👌🏻
@@brandtsanderson4665 I just picked him up after all the negative feedback I have heard about him online. So I am excited to try him out with a more open mind.
Thanks for the shout out! Just saw this Glad people enjoy the little stories I type out. It's fun to try and think of thematic reasons why things are going on (inspired by Web-Warrior's great gameplay) and I hope you enjoy the Hulk!
I really like all the tools Hulk has now. Moongirl/Ingenuity, boost up by suit up. But also Beast to fix its economy for hero events, but also any ramp support such as quinncarrier, avengers mansion etc. I also use a 2nd clarity of purpose for Hulk himself, because he has so much HP, that it help both to setup, and to conclude: wild resource for the overkill smash! Anyway, despite the small misplay at 43min20; I feel Hulk and you did very good. DescryGaming would be proud, and for sure I am.
You play Hulk better than anyone I’ve seen, and you actually made it slightly harder because you got ahead one turn on revealing stones. In the middle of the game he did Master on Stones and in the chaos of triggering everything, you actually revealed the Time Stone on the same activation where you activated 2 stones.
Thanks Scot! Appreciate that a lot :) And that’s a really good catch! I missed that, thank you. I missed an encounter card later that would have been “The Mad Titan” and reveal a stone (it got turned as a boost instead) so maybe it was my way of preemptively making up for a mistake haha 😆
@@webwarriorfanaticI keep having a problem with the phrase beginning “Add them…”. Plurals are so tricky. It’s such an edge case tho with Thanos. It doesn’t really matter.
Thanks Podman! When i first posted this deck, a lot of people told me that Suit Up wasn’t efficient… but being able to tutor an ally from deck OR discard is insane with the current ally selection. Moon Girl aside, it’s an on-demand access to stun/confuse with Mockingbird/Prof X
Great video but reading the full card every time you play it really slows the video down. If I could offer a suggestion reading it once then just playing it every other time like Dale the Casual Gamer used to do might speed your videos up a bit and make them more palatable. Not that the video was bad I really enjoyed it just becomes a little long winded with the over explaining. Hope I’m not coming off as a jerk just wanted to mention this. Impressive win btw.
Im a really big Hulk fan but i dont like him in MCLCG...After watching this i shuld give him another chance i guess. Very well done. The genius trait helps him alot. I will never understand why FFG gave this genius only a 5 hand sice 💩 he deserved a 7 😆
Thanks jehoba! I agree. It makes no sense that Bruce Banner has a handsize of 5. If it was 7 that would be very thematic and force the player to rely on his AE to build out… i don’t think it would break the character in anyway
@43:20 you miss adding the regular encounter card. 1 from Tribute, 1 from decking out and one from villain phase. It happens to me all the time. The challenge of solo play is how easy it is to miss triggers when mentally organizing everything. Still an amazing game. Really enjoyed it.
Nice deck, do you think its more powerful than a colossus deck using armor up every turn, with weapon x, piotrs studio, moira, and iron will as even more card draw? I currently have my build of colossus regardless of aspect as S tier. This build of hulk looks A tier to me, but I was wondering your opinion between the 2.
Starlord is fantastic! And yes, Ingenuity can only be played be Genius-traited identities, but after it’s in play, it can generate a resource for the player who controls it at any time

Thanks as always Albert! Yes i actually think Hulk is underrated as weird as that sounds. Like he’s not the worst hero in the game 😂

Awesome gameplay, thanks for the video.
And Hulk……..☝️SMASH!
😏
Thanks man! Hulk Smash all the way 💪💪💪
Interesting interpretation of Suit Up at 38:00. Olympic caliber gymnastics.
Beast & Hulk; such a team up
Glad for the bare-knuckle finish
Love Beast with Hulk! And i believe the ruling is we just fulfill the most we can on the card for Suit Up since there’s no cost arrow ->

Really impressive win. Thank you for the excellent gameplay!
Glad you enjoyed this match 😁😁
You know Web-Warrior Fanatic, your use of Suit Up impresses me. I thought it was a useless card, but you really show how good it can be. Good stuff.

In my opinion, Colossus with that build is stronger than Hulk Suit Up!
Geniuses Assemble! 🧠💪🏻🤓
Hulk smashes while puny human think stuff 😅
Great game.
Thanks guarism0! Haha i love flipping back and forth between Banner and Hulk 🤩
Though status and Element gun… one more reason I really like Starlord (btw, can Hulk use ingenuity? Minute 8:30)

@@webwarriorfanatic Oh great!!! I thought I could only use it while in Genius mode XD
@@neojaw2192yesss Ingenuity is usually a big mulligan target for a lot of heroes because if we can play it turn 1 we get it forever!
