I love rock and metal music in general but I miss amount of big technique and range needed in heavy metal or hard rock in 70s & 80s. Nowadays singers are not that impressive if we talk about mainstream rock.
Chris is one of my favourite singers and my favourite from 90s. I cannot imagine listening to rock and metal without Soundgarden:D And of course without my favourite longplay from grunge era, Temple of the dog.

First time I watched this "serie" - BTW great idea to make vids about the rock/metal performances that occured during the famous voice shows around the world ;) -. First thing I noticed was that the countries welcoming this kind of genre weren't the land they originated from ... Most of the Voice various programs that welcolmed it the Best are from what we could call "foes" territories, if you consider History ... (eastern Europe, Ex-Russia, Turkey even WTF !!?) Someone please explain why I never saw a metal singer in the voice US, France or UK etc making it through the first round of auditions/battles ?... While so many procured outstanding performances !!!?? Ok Maybe I haven't been a real fan of the program and didn't watch every single international season scrupulously, but hey have u !? :p
