Thanks for your footage of the Lucky’s Card Show Sammy!! Your videos of the card shows are always exceptional!! I appreciate you taking us along to the shows to see these vintage treasures since we don’t have shows with vintage cards like this in my area!! Congratulations on the treasures that you added to your collection!!
Great pickups. Very nice Berk Ross Mays. I always enjoy your footage not just for the cards but some of the background conversations you pick up are amusing both from dealers and other customers.
The closeup of the Caramelo Miñoso was incredible. He was such an important figure in the history of MLB's progress toward integration, and a congenial guy as well. I admired the vendor early in the video who had vintage sets in binders. Man, that's really a nod to tradition. Despite your concerns about video quality, the shots are fine. Those 1948-49 Leafs were nice. And the selection of vintage unopened packs was paradise. The 1962 Dick Williams seems like a bargain - wasn't he a high number?
The first vendor was my buddy Mike. He has some great stuff. We've purchased and sold to each other over the years. I sold him a Fleer 61 Bob Cousy IA yesterday.
That’s a beautiful Bull Durham, I really like the blue background. For beer can collectors back in the day, Rheingold’s were popular. And the ‘52 Berk Ross is really special!
I looked up Bull Durham. Because I don't know who that was. He didn't play long in the majors, but he was on Washington in 1907 season, and was team mates with Walter Johnson! That's awesome.
Congrats on that Berk Ross beauty! They definitely had a tighter setup Dealers were cramped and aisles were noticeably smaller. Must have been really tight Saturday.
Hi Sammy, Thanks for your Day 2 coverage of the Lucky’s card show. I really enjoyed your pickups, especially the 1969 Mets Yearbook! I have a modest collection of what I call ‘paper collectibles’ including yearbooks and programmes. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend. Best Wishes, Peter
Thank you Peter! I've been getting into collecting the yearbooks of the Mets because they're affordable. The 69 Yearbook was more costly than others, but understandably so.
Thanks for the business. I'm glad I can help you along your way with the Fleer 61 set. I may reconsider the 61 Fleer Russell IA. If I do, I'll let you know.
Sammy, all your video from this show was exceptional. Did you say that this is a new show? The amount of vintage reminds me of Strongsville and even the National. The Northeast is definitely where the best vintage is.
It's technically the same show, but the promotion was sold over to a newer promotion that operates some of the larger shows in the Northeast. It was their first time running the White Plains show.
Damn, that’s a nice Mays! Beautiful. You know, I picked up a raw ‘52 Berk Ross Monte Kennedy yesterday. Let me know if you want to trade 🤣 Seriously though, outstanding pickup. Of course I think it would look even nicer in a tux, but I feel that way about every vintage card that’s not already in a tux.
Hi Sammy. That Mays is a real beauty, congrats on picking up such a great card, so happy for you my friend. As always, thanks for the footage pal. Talk soon Sammy.
The hobby is dead! Nobody is showing up to the shows! 😂😂😂😂 Man it looks like the hobby is doing just fine! Awesome stuff and your pickups were amazing! That T206 looked pack fresh! Congrats on those my friend 🤛🏻

Same here as I am in SW Indiana.
Thanks buddy.

I somehow wind up capturing some of the most interesting dialogue when I'm at shows.

Thanks Dave! Wish I could’ve tried it

That's pretty cool. I plan on looking up some information about him for The Start of The Week on Monday.
Congrats on that Berk Ross beauty! They definitely had a tighter setup Dealers were cramped and aisles were noticeably smaller. Must have been really tight Saturday.
I think it was a combination of a lot of people coming on Saturday due to the weather on Sunday and creating a more narrow space in the aisles
I picked up a 1975 Christmas rack pack yesterday with Nolan & Dick Allen on top. She's a beauty Sammy!!
Congrats man! Those 1975 Christmas Rack Pack's are fun collectibles.

Thank you Ron!
It was awesome seeing you today Sammy, thanks for the great deal on the Fleers! Thrilled for you on the Berk Ross Mays!
Thanks for the business. I'm glad I can help you along your way with the Fleer 61 set. I may reconsider the 61 Fleer Russell IA. If I do, I'll let you know.
@@SammyThunder Please do!
LOVE that Bull Durham!!
Thanks man!
Yeah those aisles do look a little tight. Haha. I need some room to operate!! 🤓
Yeah man. There were times I was stuck in either direction.

Thanks man. I always prefer a tux, but for now, I'll keep it in a PSA holder.
They have some interesting Seaver items in the current Clean Sweep auction.
Taking a look.
How much was that Mets yearbook? It was gorgeous
I'll give you the Mangini answer, $3. :)
I don't even know if they still make Rheingold beer. It was ubiquitous in my Northeast childhood. They even had an annual Miss Rheingold contest!
Rheingold looks like a beer I’d enjoy. I’m all about a crisp tasting lager
Hi Sammy. That Mays is a real beauty, congrats on picking up such a great card, so happy for you my friend. As always, thanks for the footage pal. Talk soon Sammy.
Thank you Stephen. Hope you're well!
Oh my, that Berk Ross Mays is very nice. Congrats.
Thanks Mike. Appreciate you watching the video man!
Wow, Sammy congrats on the Brek Ross Mays! Amazing card! That Bull Durham is no slouch either!
Thanks Billy!
Great stuff, Sammy! Congrats on the beautiful Mays Berk Ross. Such an awesome card. Cheers!
Thanks y'all!
Thanks for the show footage , looked really crowded. Nice 52 Berk Ross Mays pick-up. Thanks Sammy !!
Thanks Doug. Today was a night and day difference from yesterday. Really difficult to navigate the room.
Beautiful t206 card, looks better than the grade. Nice show footage Sammy.
Thanks Orlando. That's the main reason why I went for it. Great example of buying the card, not the grade.
Awesome pickups Sammy! Another monster with the berk Ross
Thanks Eric. I'm back into savings mode again.
The hobby is dead! Nobody is showing up to the shows! 😂😂😂😂 Man it looks like the hobby is doing just fine!
Awesome stuff and your pickups were amazing! That T206 looked pack fresh! Congrats on those my friend 🤛🏻
It's all a simulation. We are all Keanu Reeves!
@ hahahaha
Awesome stuff and some more great footage! Thanks for the video and thanks for sharing!
Thanks Jay.
I love card show wall through videos. Thanks for sharing Sammy. This was an amazing video.
Thanks man. There will be plenty more in the future!
Incredible pick ups Sammy. Thanks for the show footage.
Thanks man!
Was it Ashish's table that had the four 52T Mantles in a row?
I believe so? I'll have to take a second look.
I heard me..he he
Lower your voice man! Think of a card show like a library 😎😀
Killer pickups & great seeing you, Sammy!!
Thanks Kurt. Good seeing you too!
