1. In addition to an adequate carbon source, activated sludge bacteria require adequate amounts of
nutrients, such as nitrogen and phosphorus, to function properly.
2. The general rule of thumb is that the ratio of BOD-to-nitrogen-to-phosphorus in the primary clarifier effluent be approximately 100:5:1.
Nutrient Demand Calculation
Nitrogen Demand : 0.04 - 0.05 kg N/kg BOD5.
Phosphor Demand : 0.01 - 0.02 kg P/kg BOD5.
Example:
Waste water inflow = 1000 m3/day
Concentration and Load of BOD5 = 1700 mg/L and 1700 kg BOD5/day
Nitrogen Demand = 0.05 kg/kg BOD5
Phosphor Demand = 0.02 kg/kg BOD5
Nutrients (N and P) needed for growth of micro-organisms :
Nitrogen = Demand × Load = (0.05) kg N/kg BOD5 × (1700) kg BOD5/day = 85 kg N/day.
Phosphor = Demand × Load = (0.02) kg P/kg BOD5 × (1700) kg BOD5/day = 34 kg P/day.
If the inflow has : (1) total N concentration = 50 mg/L, this means nitrogen load = 50 kg N/day.
(2) total P concentration = 10 mg/L, this means phosphor load = 10 kg P/day.
Then there are insufficient nutrients in the wastewater. These have to be either be added or the method of treatment has to be reconsidered.

Check nitrogen and phosphate in effluent then feed urea DAP.

Agar effluent ka TDS jyada aa rha h to anaerobic digestion system bahut achha rhta h.. TDS digestion k liye... koshis karo janne ki aisa kis wajah se ho rha h. Kon sa product effluent h jiska TDS jyada h.. agar possible h to use alag krne ki koshis kro.. aur usi hisab se uska treatment kro... aap R.O. system ka istemaal bhi kr sakte ho final outlet me. Ya agar high TDS effluent ki quantity km h to usedilute kr do.

आपको यह इंश्योर करना होगा कि congratulation and flocculation सही से हो रहा है या नहीं।
या तो आप एलम या पॉली की डोजिंग प्रॉपर नहीं कर रहे हो। या फिर जरूरत से ज्यादा पॉली इलेक्ट्रोलाइट का इस्तेमाल कर रहे हो। Settling के लिए सबसे पहले एलम से cougullation करना बहुत जरूरी है। फिर पॉली इलेक्ट्रोलाइट की मदद से फ्लोक्कुलेशन सही तरीके से बनाना बहुत जरूरी है

Aeration km ho rha h...Aeration km ho rha h toh bacteria ko COD digest krne ke liye proper environment nahi mil rha h. Or agar aapko aeration tank me sludge wali foaming dikh rhi h toh..Iska mtlb aapne COD load jyada de diya h... Iske liye aap excess foaming in aeration tank wali video dekh sakte ho

Stp के tubsettelar tank का पानी गंदा हो गया है pls उपाय बताइए
अगर पानी सिर्फ शटलर का गंदा हुआ है तो आप उसे ड्रेन कर सकते हैं एक बार उसकी क्लीनिंग ढंग से करनी पड़ेगी सारा का सारा sludge drain करना पड़ेगा।
