Maverick a lot of your followers are bigging you up but let’s think critically here. Bolt has done super human things so is it not possible that because of his mental strength he was able to do the lap around the field while experiencing the grade 3 armstring problem? Did you ever ask for a copy of the medical report and if it says grade 3 then you could do a commentary to put to rest the questions you asked previously? There is two sides to every story.
@@stevereid5615 Okay, let's keep it critical. Looking at a grade 3 hamstring injury, the most severe hamstring injury where the muscle either completely tears or rips completely off from the bone, then if Bolt was such a super human, he would have not pulled up, he would have finished the race with the muscle completely raptured. But it's obvious that walking would be difficult after such an injury, much less to running. Think of the enormous amount of mental strength it would take to ignore such pain from a muscle that has teared completely or rip from the bone and you're still trying to run or even walk on it after as normal. I don't see why anyone would do that after such an injury to increase their pain and risk further damage to the muscle unless their life was on the line.
@@TeStOs78 I hear you and can take that point based on the severity of the injury but also is there a difference between running intensely on an injury vs doing a light lap? Again I ask, as a journalist that I have a lot of respect for did you ever try to get the medical report on the injury? Journalism is mostly about the facts right? Am happy you have this TH-cam platform I will follow and dialogue with you on matters of interest to me. I enjoy your program still I will not linger on this matter.
@@stevereid5615 Well, a grade 3 hamstring jnjury is considered the most severe level of muscle injury, so severity of the muscle is already explicitly defined base on the level so I'm thinking that severity should not be in question still. It's either a grade 3 injury or it's not. I think you should direct that question more at the Mav in the main comment section though...
Maybe his conscience was bothering him? It was a shameful disgrace in England when the world expected him to go out on top! He did picked up a bronze if I remembered correctly!
Badmind is active and a big part of why this country can't move forward base on a lot of the comments we are a country of haters that why there is so much crime in the country kmt

You are expressing yourself and so is Bolt….QUIT Sir…and no names were called by him…why you squeal?
I am amazed that so much is being said about nothing Bolt has earned his place in history . Oral has played a most important role in his journalism. The way forward is shourded with nothingness. Gentleman, there are serious issues that beckons your interest to heal this nation and our race!
Horatio Stone, how can you state much is being said about nothing?what are you implying sir? The man must not clarify and ask for an apology if something is being said about him on national tv that is an untruth. He must leave it as is for the public to have the view that it is true. It is his reputation and he has the right to clear his name
At the end of the day Bolt is not beyond reproach. Some people in life are of the belief that they are above criticism, and Bolt is no different here. I myself and friends did question that incident in his final appearance, and it didn't add up. As an Ambassador Mr Usain Bolt, please move on and settle the squabble with Mr Tracy.

My brother people will always do this. Because they lack the ability to be objective when they like someone. Years ago on another channel I said Asafa Powell keeps choking at major meets. People went off accusing me of not liking Asafa. Even though I also stated that he was the perfect specimen as a sprinter with the best form I have ever seen and were it not for Bolt could arguably be the greatest at 100m because of his times consistency, and world records. Maverick, love your commentaries because your perspective are spot on most of the time. However, you are missing the big picture. No one is except from criticism, but keep in mind that your views can negatively affect the livelihood of others. Usain said he felt betrayed because the statement made by you did not reflect an accurate depiction of an event that you gave your perspective. Your commentary could have influenced his fan base to question his credibility. We have to careful of the things we say to others and about others. Question, are you aware as to the amount of pain killers Usain had to take to participate in that final farewell presentation? 2. do you know the excruciating paint Usain had to endure to pick himself up from off that track and walked away just to make it appear normal? Critical analysis could have taken that into account. Additionally, you could have focused your narrative on the superhuman strengths of Usain”a mental strength because he wanted to satisfy his audience appetite for greatness, but you did not. I know, controversy sells. As a group, we need to be mindful that what we say can have a negative impact on lives. Right now, Usain does not trust what you say anymore. My suggestion is to reach out and have a real sit down with the big man if he would allow it. Trust me, this will be difficult because he no longer sees you as credible. I wish you the best on this endeavor. I love your show. Dr. Haughton
Oral Tracey work is to criticize objectively and that’s what he does, usain bolt must be intelligent enough to know it’s not personal, I listened to both of the clip bolt seems to get his information second hand , iam a fan of bolt but I also questioned his injuries too , so because it usain bolt everybody must assume that’s it was a genuine injury? They are two side to every story and coin’s, based on the nature of the injury he sustained in his farewell race , from a medical perspective he wasn’t supposed to walk so normal and I can bet u he partied after instead of going to doctors.

Disagree. You seem to have missed the point of journalism. Freedom of speech and freedom of the press. Maverick has a right to express his opinions on actions that he observes irrespective of whether the public may agree with him or not. Bolt, as a public figure, is certainly not exempt from legitimate criticism and commentary. Maverick had raised pertinent questions. You don’t think other ppl were quietly asking the same questions? The public isn’t stupid. But I’m happy that Maverick set the record straight and noted that his analysis was not a personal attack on Bolt.
This is rubbish and kiss-assery... Bolt is not superman despite his speed....he either did not get a grade 3 year and his injury was much less severe, hence his ability to do what he did after or he was lying. Then we shld ask why? Period. You obviously are clueless about the level of pain involved. Bolt isnt above criticism, bout fan base....if that was to be applied to all, no one in the limelight would be criticized....utter damn nonsense.
That's true and all the commentators at the time said so. But that shows the class Bolt had. He knew he false started and didn't want special treatment.

My brethren, i didn't see Bolt's injury @ the Athens Olympic. However I've watched him on all other occasions & concurs with u on all other points made. I've questioned 2 this day his final race in London. I've had muscle torn from my inner thigh bone. It took a year 2 get back 2 full fitness with some of the best medical help available. Now at 68, it's letting me know it's not 100%. I'm not disrespecting the GREAT MAN, but like u, I analyse what I see that dosent make sense....
Alright alright alright. Merlene and Don Quarrie carried on our inherited track and field legacy outstandingly...VCB, established it in Athens. Safa strengthened it, Usain "uplifted di whole ah yard' (and the worl) in one way or another. Weather (ok then, wether) ones saw it or wish to recognize it, he did do it. I will be real as athlete when get a hamstring injury alot it is painful but not as the first time once is the first your you will lay down for days but if it is more than 4 times you will get accustom to the pain as for usain bolt he got alot of hamstring injury and plus to his crew was their so he got treatment so.... all that shit does not matter 😴
Oral Tracy you are comparing bolt to other athletes, bolt is a freak of nature. You keep on saying you didn't say this and that but while you might have not came out and said certain things you are definitely implying certain things about Bolt and that is hypocritical.
U see how it feel? You always degrade Asafa. What you have been doing to him over the years was bad. You were not being critical, you were destroying him in the eyes of his fans abd the Caribbean community. I believe Bolt. Had the your programme being watched by the world athletics body Bolt would have come under scrutiny for not playing fair. Consider your actions before you speak.
Search the meaning of the word 'maverick'. I doubt the purpose of the program was to say what everybody is saying. Sports commentary is not an emotional segment but one built on critical analysis and commentary that is against the grain of what the masses are doing. I think that's what a lot of ppl fail to understand and they expect something from the show that it really wasn't made for.
@Ben44shallum It's that thinking that has our politics where it is bro. Agreeing with someone's point of view doesn't make me any sort of fan of theirs. I love the work of both gentlemen. We're on the same page here cause I believe Bolt too (does that make me a double sycophant? 🤔). I appreciated his response and clarification, as a matter of fact I knew there must have been a reasonable explanation. My point was simply that Oral is playing right along with his 'maverick' moniker and what has been expected of 'Sports Commentary' over the years. Both individuals apologized. Mr Tracy's apology was because offense was taken. Otherwise he would have nothing to apologize for because in his commentary he simply asked questions . . which were simply clarified and accepted. Anyway though, I apologize, not that I think what I said was wrong but I apologize because I didn't intend to offend and you clearly are. Just like Mr Tracy and Bolt we're on the same team. Bless up yourself 🇯🇲
@Ben44shallum The politics I spoke of was Jamaican politics (just clarifying). I see where you coming from though, I appreciate the context. I've never heard his arguments about Trump but I can see how it may be hard listen to anyone who can make sense of Trump's actions. My point was not really about the man but about the two arguments put forward. Bless
In that race, Usain is my athlete. However, my opinion is, where Bolt collected that batton he had no chance of winning the race, hence what we saw. My honest opinions.

The Landon race him QUIT and I naa tek forward no chat.
Your adherence to distorted notions of masculinity prevents you from saying back? Wow
Nothing has changed Maverick, you are still the best at what you do in Jamaica. Your observations are spot on. I am looking forward to your comment on Blessed Okabare '9.63'. Big up yuself mi boss.
You never said it but you implied it. Me would vex too.
You talk too much
@@jonethnicholson2560 He is entitled to speak
Sir you are missing the point….if the young man said your opinions affected and offended him…not your place to say he should not feel offended….it matters not that you fell justified in your opinion. You are expressing yourself and so is Bolt….QUIT Sir…and no names were called by him…why you squeal?
Just let go that whether u say it yes r no just move on because bolt's is not going to apologise to u so just end it ,it is not the end of the world
Bolt earned his place in history oh please
He wasn't trying to take that from him
The last race could make a good ending to his movie
What is your predictions on the 100 and200 meter for women
I am amazed that so much is being said about nothing
Bolt has earned his place in history .
Chat too much oral tracy
He never called oral Tracey name u made it known
At the end of the day Bolt is not beyond reproach. Some people in life are of the belief that they are above criticism, and Bolt is no different here. I myself and friends did question that incident in his final appearance, and it didn't add up.
As an Ambassador Mr Usain Bolt, please move on and settle the squabble with Mr Tracy.
Badmind, envy and self aggrandizement are pillars of the low life among us. Do you not understand what Oral Tracey is accusing Bolt of doing? Always the first in the line to sell Marcus Garvey for rice.
Up top maverick bolt should not make gestures get to him he is not excempt 🙏✌
The Maverick have my respect. No one is exempt from critical analysis like how Andrew Holness exempt Bolt from covid party protocol.
Well if unnu accept Andrew as unnu King/dictator and father, he can determine who he punishes and who he doesnt. The real issue is why are Jamaicans accepting that nonsense.
ONE MAVERICK.... KEEP DOING WHAT YUH DOING BRO.... A WHO DEM????... 👊
Mi Boss you not lying the Legend time was just up he did us proud but Jamaicans are know for starting controversy and mix up
Nothing wrong with constructive criticism but u are bordering on questioning the man's integrity.. putting things out there for ppl to think the man fake an injury like what he did was in no way humanly possible
I think he asked a valid question "if grade 3 muscle tear means the muscle tear off the bone, stretcher affi tek you off the track, you have to use crutches and walk, takes 4 months to heal etc etc.. how did Bolt got up and walk like its nothing, came to the track the next day, did a full lap?" I'm not saying he didn't get injured but, he walked perfectly fine for a man who had the worst of the worst injury to me..
but I'll ask you the question, say you felt that bolt's case was not accurate, how would you go about critiquing it ?
All when I don't watch the news I have to watch sports commentary I love you u mek very good Tv
Well said, all done. Free speech.
You analysis is accurate and on point.
QUIT HIM QUIT AFTER THE RACE HIM WENT OUT PARTY AFTER HIM WALK THE ENTIRE TRACK.
Shaun Maclean...you and Oral a share the same no-brain. Two idiots. Accusing the man of losing on purpose and being bribed by America to lose the race in some countries would result in a lawsuit.
Keep doing u tin oral! Usain the GOAT!! Wash only taste good if the lime sour and the sugar sweet!
You didn’t state it but it was implied. You are also bringing bolt integrity in to question.
Bolt isnt beyond criticism
@@jesuisdavid1 He's certainly not beyond criticism. However, Tracy attacks and lives on certain athletes such as Bolt. At one point I was thinking that he begrudged Bolt.
Please leave Bolt alone let the man retire in peace and enjoy him self. He gave his all to athletes.
Do u thing nobody above nothing. We love him but we enjoy this part of it too
Logic beats feelings.. This seems like a consistent application of Right Ruling, excellent judgement by this Brother.. 🤔The things that make you go Hmmmmm.. Check the ring Mishpacha.. Iréè óò 🧔🏿⚖️📜📃📖📚💻📲⏳⌛
Yow man leave the legend alone , what Bolt accomplished in track and field no one will ever Live to eclipse in a lifetime. Leave our Jamaican legend alone 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
People like uno see nonsense a go on and uphold with it. Him sell the race.
What does that have to do with anything?
Real ... Jamaican love Carry the news wrong
But they left all that out and called me a hater.
You were right about Asafa Powell. He always pulls up 10 to 20 meters before the finish line. Powell stopped running full speed around 2010. It is as if he as low self esteem. He down-hearted too easy. It is a defeated attitude and energy that comes over him if he "THINK" he will lose. He rather stop trying and gets intimidated under pressure. Remember the 2008 Beijing 4x100 final leg when bolt handed the baton to him on the anchor leg. Usain Bolt had to "SCREAM" at Powell to RUN like hell... That is what got Jamaica the World Record back then.
Now seeing this. Did not know that all this went down. I call this simply a case of "HE SAY SHE SAY"! I learned that lesson very early in life. Always check it straight from the horse's mouth or dismiss it.
Still very honest even in diffences dilema! hank u sir oral tracey.
Maverick thank you a truth you a talk. Maverick long time yu in a dis talk truth boy in a him feelings 😭😭😭😭
Maverick do you thing you can't please everyone jesus was great on the land and they crucified him chest from chester

I remember the sports commentary episodes... They were funny AF. 🤣🤣🤣. The chain in mouth etc..
I could see the face of Oblique while running and before he takes his shoes off I taught his shoes was burning check out Seville type the 4th of August
True word well said
Sir Maverick keep up the good work. Analyze Analyze!!! Critical Analysis!!
*respect fada Tracey, I remember when you use to substitute for Bobby Frey until Sports commentary became your own show, really enjoy it to this day, continue the great works, respect di sprint king same way, reputation set in stone for you both*
Yow me like your Analysis, it real ,humorous, and critical.
Oral bolt is not above criticism do your job without fear or favour
That is not the point.Bolt's integrity was brought into quuestion without him having proof of what really happenend. As a journalist truth and facts comes before opinion without evidence to back it up.Bolt is right.
i remember when you and eagle was discussing that grade 3 tear and eagle go as far as to describe bolt as a superman and that's why he was able to walk
Spectators are there to critique weather they have it right or wrong we can't stop anyone from having an opinion I myself had also question that pullup in the relay.
Excellent Maverick
He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life, and it's not everything good to eat good to talk. Bolt stop running now for how many years, why tearing up his name now, can't you give it a rest, you're not a doctor or Physical Physicians or a Fysioterapi if you were in America you would be sued for slander
Big up my g from mi a baby boy mi watch yo pan mi tv 📺 mi all wait just to hear yo wid yo mad jokes dem just different more life an blessings ✊🏾🙏🏾
@@jazzymars30 ..I think people are saying as a journalist you need to make sure of the facts first before you speak your opinion which may or may not be backed up by evidence. He didnt know what the full truth was yet spoke on it as if he did.
@@marshamcghie8407 did Bolt dispute the severity of the injury?
This guy makes sense, if Bolt hadn't take off his shirt he would have allowed to run.
That's true and all the commentators at the time said so. But that shows the class Bolt had. He knew he false started and didn't want special treatment.
Didn’t know u have a Chanel. Im a subscriber now
Everyone has their job to do I love asafa and I was always mad at you for criticizing but I know it’s just your job 👍🏽
The man a superhuman from a youth , real talk serious athletes run 200 meters with broken toe , hokey athletes foot ball athletes even basketball athletes at high levels can withstand very serious injuries but with all that said no one is above criticism
Mi boss mi boss mi boss, like u fraid fi Bolt or like di man a God, speak your truth and don't give a fvck who it offend, who is Bolt? Why do you need to be saying boss boss like u worship this man even when a him wrong wid u, you are the maverick that run sport thing on radio and TV and he is the guy who runs faster than everybody else, you both are great in your field so why you sounding overly respectful, the man is just a man and fi hold him corner when people criticize him
My brethren, i didn't see Bolt's injury @ the Athens Olympic.
You did your work commentating as you saw fit.
Can everyone, move forward?

I mean...there is just so much going on right now.
His mom was at that race where he false started. You are saying that he didn’t want to run the race where she was in the stands. It is unbelievable that you could be so wrong. your setting the record straight will only make him dislike you more.
Shut up honestly this isnt his first race so what his mom has to do with it? This isn't PE or champs
Don’t forget he went on to play football right after
Dwl.....
Yu doctor friend who said grade 4 didn't pay attention in med school
Bolt watch is how him think. If he is going to refute the comments and hold it in his heart so long, it is his duty to watch the videos more so because someone told you so.
Hell yea! First reaction is to grab your hamstrings.
Very good questions about those races....suspicious at the very least....Bolt or not. He is but a man.
Bless
Big Bolt fan, but respect to you.
In that race, Usain is my athlete. However, my opinion is, where Bolt collected that batton he had no chance of winning the race, hence what we saw. My honest opinions.
