This makes me want to start training parkour again. Has been about 3 months, but you just make training seem so flowy and graceful, I feel like my legs would be okay if I trained more like you.
Holy shit. I didn't realize I still had a youtuber with notifications on. I usually turn them all off, imagine my surprise, getting a sudden notification and it's the J-man himself, years later. Great storytelling sir.
I work at a Ninja Warrior gym, which isn't quite the same thing, but comparing footsteps to music rings true for me. I can tell if a student's form is off on something like the warped wall from the sound of their steps most of the time. And I will forever be fighting the battle of Longer Runup does not equal Faster Movement.
Jason, my excitement knows no bounds - you're back after an agonizingly long 3 years! The void your absence left in the TH-cam world is finally filled. Your videos have been my daily dose of inspiration, and your extraordinary way of turning ordinary moments into captivating stories has fueled my own vlogging journey. Those daily vlogs of yours are like a window into a world of adventure, pushing me to chase my dreams too. Here's to more epic content and the undying support of your biggest fan! 🙌🎥🌟 #JasonPaul #VloggingInspiration
Great to see you back man, i bought my first copy of gopro in 2015 for you as an inspiration i start doing vlogs or at least recording my parkour trainings, it was just now in 2023 that i can buy a gopro hero 8 black and "re start" my vlogs but now i talk to the camera and learn some edit in premiere haha, happy to see how this channel has improve as well as the person behind it, that is you men, sometimes i return to your channel to see some old videos and realize with just some basic edit and a camera (in that time gopro hero 3 i think) you can just tell a story, thats pure inspiration, cheers Jason, im on the newsletter, really helpfull for me cause i return Parkour after and injured and also i teach Parkour, hope you are well and cheers from Chile!
Thank you Jason! I can relate to so many of things you mentioned in the video. I've always liked your flow and skill. I'll definitely be applying all of the concepts you share!
Love it my man! I agree about the the steps sounding like music. Reminds me of the storror video where jimmy the giant was following them around to make a beat for a sing from their movement sounds.
Woah! I had an updated light bulb moment watching this video Jason! Your perspective on parkour as an art form, as I already knew it to be, is enlightening! Thank you, Jason. Please continue making more of these videos and more Farang videos. I thoroughly enjoy all of the content.
Wow Jason that actually helps a lot because every time I try doing a dive front flip from my roof which it about 20 feet I keep misplacing my foot and it ruins everything, thank you so much for this amazing video
Thank you, Jason for inspiration keep doing parkour. When you make last video i thought you never back on TH-cam. When i see today this video, my mood has become even better. Thanks for cinematic and atmosphere video.
When tumbling or vaulting in gymnastics "sounding the rythm" i.e. listening to the rhythm of hands and feet hitting the ground is also super important. A wonky rhythm is a sure sign of wonky execution.
This must be one of the most important pk tutorial/tips video, it is based on a small detail which i hadnt realised how important it is, and not only that, you give us 5 whole tips to fix that 1 detail! Thank you so much! You really make me realise the depth of pk and movement, you are insparing me and give me trick ideas to try (from your insta). Thanks again!❤
I remember your name from the german parkour forum around 2006 or something and watching a video of you with that 300 Sparta music countless times. Glad to see you were able to make a living out of it, and giving good advice to people. Lg aus Österreich
I laughed out loud at 2:54 😂 Of course, my mind started thinking of the moves I have seen in Storror videos (especially by Toby) where they (often he) put nothing less than max speed, right after Jason made that "Max Speed" statement
I'm currently living in Japan and my fascination with the place started all those years ago watching this channel. Thanks for all the amazing content much love! ❤
This video is incredible and packed full of the beauty of parkour and the small struggle within achieving smooth movement How many external hard drives ya got?? 😵 What brand have you had the best luck with? Thank you for being you 🦋
Okay, you don't need a ghoststep, if you are strong on both legs. But there is one situation, where the ghoststep useful, if you have a right/left turn and you would go with your right/ left, it makes it way harder/awkward.
No way welcome back jason bro I go back to your channel and see if you upload anything and you have now and I'm glad to see you I've been a fan since when you were in japan
I think youtube maybe deletes comments that have links? Tried a couple times to link here but you can see it on our website Explore Parkour. Or if you look up finding flow explore parkour on google or something. Aim of the site is to have physical, technical and conceptual content for Parkour. If you do check out the site I’d definitely love your feedback :) I’m not web design savvy so it’s been a bit of a mission to make it happen.
Damn, I so wish this video was around back when I started parkour. I love the 4th tip especially, it's a very good mental cue. For me, the method I landed with was to make my steps cover less ground by stepping a little to the side - sort of like adding a slight single step J-curve.
I always do the dubstep in my runups for everything. It's like a bad habbit but also a sort of commitment mantra. Like if I do it I go 100% for the jump. Sometimes I even put 2 in. 1 because of habbit and 1 because I need it for getting my steps right. 😅
I don't know what compelled me to click on this video, but given how much of your content I consumed when I was younger, it feels like coming home
Gotcha 😁 welcome back!
same omggg
I feel the same, i remember watching every vlog back in the day
This video was incredible! It was cinematic, engaging, and immensely valuable. Welcome back, Jason 🙏🏾
Thanks a ton!
This makes me want to start training parkour again. Has been about 3 months, but you just make training seem so flowy and graceful, I feel like my legs would be okay if I trained more like you.
Jimmy! I’m biased obviously, but you totally should. Even just a little bit 😊 every jump counts
Holy shit. I didn't realize I still had a youtuber with notifications on. I usually turn them all off, imagine my surprise, getting a sudden notification and it's the J-man himself, years later. Great storytelling sir.

3 years welcome back! Sad to say I didnt realize I hadnt watched one of your videos in that long but glad you are back.
Great video Jason! Even though I have already conquered my stutter step, it was nice to hear you explain these concepts and show your cinematic style!
Upload regular videos man, you create enthusiasm about parkour
Love this! Very true! I used to struggle with the stutter step a lot, and these are some great tips! It's also great to see you uploading again!😁
Thank you Jason! I can relate to so many of things you mentioned in the video. I've always liked your flow and skill. I'll definitely be applying all of the concepts you share!
Yooo, this was so good! Welcome back JP!
Those shots at the end of the video were enough to make a grown man cry
Lucky for us we are not grown men
So amazing each detail Jason!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, it helped a lot my friend!! 👍🏼👍🏼😃

I was waiting for a new video for ages. FINALLY!
Love that you're back!! Your videos give so much value to the community
I appreciate that!
I have no idea about parkour but this moves look so flawless. It looked like kinda dance moves.
Welcome back Jason, I hope you continue posting
Moooore, need more content, this video was too good to wait for an other 3 years haha
I’ll be back in 3 years 😆
Love it my man! I agree about the the steps sounding like music. Reminds me of the storror video where jimmy the giant was following them around to make a beat for a sing from their movement sounds.

@@TheJasonPaul Thank you! You're welcome. Much love, Jason.
I really missed your videos, thank you Jason
Excellent, so many of this translates to basketball as well, where you have only get one chance to get the steps right in order to score.
Wow Jason that actually helps a lot because every time I try doing a dive front flip from my roof which it about 20 feet I keep misplacing my foot and it ruins everything, thank you so much for this amazing video
We need more of this
Great video and I am really looking forward to the newsletter. Thank you so much!!
WELCOME BACK!!!! Love to see it, Much love from SYD, AUS
Oi!!! Thanks 😁
Perfect tips 👌🏾 great quality video! Attention to detail was spectacular. Looking forward to your new wave of content
Thanks Luis! Excited to tackle some nerd topics in a fun way😁
Counting the steps kinda works, if the run-up isn't long, or if you stride along on single obstacles 😂
Thank you, Jason for inspiration keep doing parkour. When you make last video i thought you never back on TH-cam. When i see today this video, my mood has become even better. Thanks for cinematic and atmosphere video.
Never say never 😁 thanks for the patience!
It's great to hear from you again like this, thank you!
Just woke up feeling a bit shit but this video puts a smile on my face
Yep love this discussion! All about that step efficiency 👏🏼
oh boss mode, probably the most important video i’ve seen in my life
Still waiting for our Emmy

Haha oh my god, I remember the nickname hagelnot. What a throwback 😃
@@TheJasonPaul oh really :D now that comes as a surprise. I also remember the "Böllern statt Parkour" action hehe
this feels so real, I started parkour about a year ago and dropped off, this man was my inspiration

no way you got permission for the red bull arena, those drone shots are sick!
It is beginner content, but put in a good way.
Es ist unterhaltsam und hin und wieder die Grundlagen zu lernen schadet nicht.
