I think Robert is a great presenter very professional very informative and took his time explaining all. Rare to find people with patience nowadays everyone is just in such a rush. Great video. 👍
This was absolutely the best instructional video I've seen. I have had a 2014 C 7 for six years and I learned several things that were new to me.. Thank You very much for taking the time and patience to produce it.
Excellent, excellent tutorial. 👍👍👍 No, I did NOT know that the mirrors swiveled both directions. The Infotainment lesson was great. It's better for me to SEE it at the same time as you're TELLING me. That makes it stick in my head. Thank you both. Great job.👌
I’ve had my 2019 C7 Z since brand new and I have 10,000 miles on it and saw probably 4 things I didn’t know and was reminded about a few others. I’m also one of those car owners that reads the owners manual from front to back more than once. Thanks for the video

C7 ZR1’s aint got no stinkin ECO mode! haaaa! seriously, though, I learned a crap ton about the settings on the dash and stuff I’ve never fiddled with before. Thank you.

I was reluctant to watch this video because of the length. I was wrong, very thorough. I just bought (May 2023) a 2016 Z06 3LZ convertible automatic in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. I have learned a lot about its features (watching other TH-cam videos) but I have learned at least 7 more things watching this video. So glad I gave it the time, so glad you guys did it. The car is awesome!
Thank you, Terry! I was worried about the length as well but I just couldn’t find anything to cut out. I’m like you, when I see a long video I generally skip it. Lol
Great tutorial vid. In my experience I haven't had many dealership reps take the time to educate the buyer on operations of their motor vehicles, so thank you. I appreciate it
Apologize if it has been mentioned in the comments but I think one thing you could/should have mentioned was putting the car in "Accessory" mode. Basically sit in the car while not depressing any pedals, hold the start button down for 10 seconds. It will power up the dash and most systems. This allows you to access all the settings like you did here but without the car running. Really beneficial if you don't want exhaust fumes to build in a closed garage or have your garage heated up with a running car. I found the function really helpful. And yes, I did learn something in the video with regard to using the rotating knob to control the zoom function in the maps! Great video and thanks for doing it even though the C7 has been replaced with the C8.

Gotta say my friend...Thank You!! I've owned 2 C7 z06s and learned a great deal by watching this!! Thanks Robert for the education and Jason for the opportunity.
Hi Robert, When you demonstrated the C7 you started the car to light up the menus but you can get the same effect without starting the car by just holding down the start button for 10 seconds. Useful if you are in a closed garage. Great video BTW. It reminded me of features I'd forgotten about, there are so many! I've had my 2016 C7 Stingray Z51 from new and imported it to the UK (my home) two years ago where it is a great head turner!
That video was great. My salesman only knew how to program the radio. Believe it or not, he could not even open the hood. He had to get another salesman to show him. Thanks.
I totally skipped the C5 and C7 Generations. The C7 was a Generation I kick myself for missing. I got ill in 2018, well diagnosed in that year and things went from bad to worse in 2019 with a “Necessary Brutal Operation” in March 2019. The Operation and Recovery took me completely away from thoughts of automobiles. So, I missed out on the 2019 models to pick up a ZO6 or a ZR1. I was just concerned about trying to be and stay alive after The Fearful ♋️ entered my life and my family’s lives. But, I have done better than a lot of people with the similar situation. I’m on my 5th year of treatment which for now is basically a maintenance dose of Chemo. Going 2 weeks on & 2 weeks off. As to the Video, any trip to Corvette World is a Great Day & Enjoyable Vlog for me. Going over the Teaching Moments with Rob is Fantastic. Even though I never had a C7, going over the C7 Manual of how things work, what to do and what to don’t probably carries over to other past and current models. Great Job Rob & Jason! Thanks
Thank you, Doug and I am very happy things didn’t take a turn for the worse and glad you’re able to be in maintenance mode. I wish you many more years here with us my friend!! Thanks for watching and have a great day!!
Thank you guys. Really appreciate the run through on things. I always read the manual, but the visuals are a better learning tool for me. I certainly learned or remembered items that I either have forgotten or didn’t even know. Love my C7, would be a shame to not use all the features available to me. Keep up the great work on your channel.
Thanks, Roger! I am with you. I learn way better visually than from some owner’s manual. Unfortunately I already forgot a few of the things I learned when we filmed. 😁
First time seeing such a detailed overview of the C7 and I think the C7 was a better overall designed car than the C8. Both the exterior and interior stylings are better in the C7 than the C8!
I agree. At least on the exterior. I personally really like the C8 interior but that is just my opinion. I think the C7 is the greatest generation Corvette has ever made. Thanks for watching. Have a happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

Thanks for the vid. I bought my '19 Z06 at the end of 2018 when GM was having a fire sale. About to hit 25k miles and it's been nothing short of amazing. Best car I've ever had (and I've had a lot!). A few years ago I was tempted to trade it for a '21 GT500 but instead kept saving my $ and ultimately was able to acquire the Shelby which now sits next to my Z :D
Nice job on this video. Thank you for taking the time to go over all this information. Very useful for all of us that may have forgotten some of these features.
I’ve had a Corvette since 1981: C3 1976 (1981 - 2019), C4 1995 (2004 - 2009), C6 2009 (2009 - to date) & C8 2022 (2022 - to date) I passed on getting a C7 and regret as many others have, not getting a 2019 ZR1. Unfortunately, I was very ill in 2018 and I’m still fighting my disease. I’ve had a lot more on my mind than car shopping. But, if the opportunity presents itself and if it’s the right color, I might consider buying a C7 ZO6 or ZR1. A number of people have resisted the move to the Mid-Engine Corvette. I’ve only put 1,247 miles on the C8 but think it is a fantastic car, so I will need to fully consider a choice between the C7 Beast or the C8 ZO6 Monster if receive an allocation. Either one might be easier to obtain than a C8 ZO6.
I think you would absolutely love a C7 Z06 or obviously the ZR1. If you could get the C8 Z06 that’d be great but like you said, the issue is allocation. I hope you’re continuing to improve with your health. When your health is failing most everything else becomes unimportant.

One hidden feature on the 2015 without the motorized pull down hatch is a vent that opens under the license plate to relieve pressure when closing the hatch. The hatch requires a strong push assist to close when all the windows are closed, and the powered vent under the license plate is supposed to make it easier. Doesn't really work that well, as it's still needed to get some momentum behind it to close compared to when the windows are open, when it'll latch just from the weight of the hatch coming down. If possible, I have the door or window open when closing the hatch so I don't need to put the extra force into closing it.
I think Robert is a great presenter very professional very informative and took his time explaining all. Rare to find people with patience nowadays everyone is just in such a rush. Great video. 👍

Thanks, Todd.
Interesting. I did not know that. Thanks for the info. Always something new to learn with these cars.
@@FrontSeatDriver if you have the rear plate off you can see the vent open when the hatch is opened, and closes after it's latched closed-
Excellent - thank you!
