Marriage is no more a sacrosanct relationship. So legalized a prenuptial aggrement+ make divorce easier so that if two people are not compatible with each other they can easily get out of that relationship.
Indian men have the idea of marriage, manage household expenses, help and support parents, help and support wife and kids. Indian women earlier had the idea of manage household work, help support husband with kids, in-laws and household expenses. Indian women now are "I am independent ", will not support household work, will not support financially, will not support in-laws, don't want kids, don't want interference in any matter and if she is in love with another man then divorce coz don't want husband. So Indian women are filling for divorce more than men.
absolute total lie... above 80% of divorces are filed by wives and in majority of them no serious reason is there........and when husband don't give as much money/property as asked(which is almost always an absurdly high amount like 70% of husband's total worth).....she files fake cases on him. Also this is one of the reason why successful young Indian men are avoiding marriage.... nowadays many do out of emotional pressure from husband.....but just give it 5 years.
