Well it looks okay to me what folks must remember is Britannia Hotels is aiming at the bottom end of the market coach trips and folks on a limited budget. If you want 5 star standards then you need to pay 5 star prices £24 for a night is pretty good in my book because the overheads in that place must be astronomical imagine the heating bill. To me as long as it's clean and tidy and your not just looking for somewhere that you can complain about then you will have a great time
the reason it was called one of the worst hotels is because this hotel and some other big hotels were used to house immigrants the bill was paid by the council and when the immigrants were moved out the hotels got grants to refurbish thats why they smell of paint and why they are getting new carpets a lot of hotels did the same, loved your video
I've stayed at Norbreck many times over the years and never had a problem with my room. Other guest's well that;s a different matter. Always found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
Hi what a great hotel room and I would stay in that room myself. The bathroom looks so amazing with all you need. its a great size for a single room. The price is so good at £24.00.
Looks like a decent hotel, the reviews online are very hit and miss which actually put me off staying there this weekend. I’ll give it a go next time I’m up in Blackpool I think.
Looks very good to be honest. I would definitely consider this if I already didn't live up that way I live in lytham st Anne's now but this does look good. Great video well done 😎
Never had a problem there. Used to cost me around 40 or 50 quid a night, probably 13 years ago. They had that Copper Face Jacks sports bar where the beer was cheaper than the entertainment bar. I’d love to go back now they have spent some serious cash on it.
I stayed there with family in the mid 1980s, in the low rise building with carpark/ seaview. It looks in better nick now! Can't recall what it cost back then but more than you've paid.
I think Britannia is okay. True, they are a little dated and tired in places but for the cost, it's quite acceptable. I have stayed in far worse places with better reviews.
Have you ever thought about doing any of the cheapie 3 or 4 day haven caravans ? The presthaven on might make a good vid.... (I'm biased, as I go there a lot lol, just paid £59 for mon-fri mid march lol)
Good start ripped carpet but they are tryin it’s an old hotel spotlessly clean kettle oops forgot to clean the top of wardrobe tut tut 😂😂no paint splashed on windows really clean shower yer cannot grumble tbh would I stay there !!!! Yea think I would they are tryin and you can see they are till the next one 😊
Hi,compared last hotel almost like Buckingham Palace great price just top of the wardrobe otherwise 99% better room very clean&had hot water think some reviews about it being worst hotel off the mark looked pretty comfortable hotel&your room thanks for the review 👍
Hello i have hotel idea its called Stonehouse in Blackpool i went about 6 years ago it was horrible but ive heard it's been done up so might be worth a look
😮 not bad, looks good I'd stay there, a bit of dust doesn't bother me, as long as it doesn't smell, the bedding & carpet are clean , I'm ok. They'll do it up because of the bad reviews. Good value for the money. 🤗 It is a ugly looking hotel from the outside. It looks like a prison. 🤭
@wanderingwiganer me and the girlfriend and kids been looking around for cheap hotels to stay in next time you put videos up off cheap hotels please can you say or show videos of wheel char ramps or ways into the hotel with them as we can only stay in hotels where we can get wheelchair into the hotel
@trevorede8740 fyi the pool at the norbreck is fully accessible along with the steam room well worth the money! The Grand Hotel is also good accessible accommodation too along with the Doric and Parkhouse hotel all these are on the budget end feel free to watch vlogs
I stayed here in the 90's for work and it was great, we stayed four years ago with my wife it was okay but could hear what was going on in the next room including hearing someone farting. We changed rooms without the plasterboard walls and we had a nice silent night. Food Hygiene was 5 stars and cannot complain. Would I stay again, probably yes if the room was right but only for work purposes.
Try staying at the Brittania Grand Burstin at Folkestone. We wouldn't go back if you paid us! 😊
I think Britannia are making improvements generally. Thanks for an honest and very fair review. Always watchable 🤙
My god compared to the last one you were in its the Ritz. Fair review.

This hotel is so much better than the last one we saw. The room also looked quite cosy and a good price.
This hotel is like a palace compared to the last one. You had a lucky escape.😁
The room is a little small, but is lovely and clean. 👍

GLAD you found some where safe to stay. Both the wife and I are thinking of staying at this hotel
Set you're expectations low and you'll be surprised by it
Appointed you didn't show the Ballroom. That would be my main reason fir staying at the hotel 💃💃💃
It was locked shut
Worked there years ago when it had different owners. Awful man that owned it.
I stayed here maybe 15 years and it was truly horrendous, smelly , damp , inedible food....looks like its improved but I would never go back.

I've stayed there many times since the late 1980's, never been disappointed yet.
Looks fantastic,is the pool open to non residents?
I'm in The Travel Lodge Monks Cross York for a couple of nights and it's top notch.
Yeah it's £4.50 I think I go pretty often - travelodge are usually pretty good

Yes and there should be a vlog coming soon it's very cheap out of season
You'd spend more on a pizza from dominos ❤
Very good value
That looked like a bargain. £24!

Yes, I went into the beer Keller then me, and my mates went to the strip club .
Is Blackpool one of your favourite destinations?
Yes
I've stayed there twice as part of a coach party 👍

Improvement now but the reviews were true, I stayed there on a theme weekend...filthy several years ago.
