I use a plate to cover any open bowls of food. It's a system that people have used for years.
Me too. And instead of a million containers for leftovers I put silicone plate covers on the food right in the bowl I was eating from and then I can reheat and eat from that bowl too! Means less dishes too!

we bought 2 sets of glass Tupperware to replace all of our dishes besides plates which are also clear so they all match and I have less dishes and no need to have 2 separate places for dishes. best purchase I've made in a long time.

I use regular sponges as washable sponges. Been doing it for years. They don't fall apart in the washing machine. I'm definitely going to switch to the ones you showed when I finish using the pack I have

You keep bringing me across things that I would never think of myself or try even if I see it in the store. I think the paper towels and napkins would REALLY work for me .. also the silicon bags! Especially for my boyfriends lunch , he’s always taking cookies, fruit and sandwiches in ziploc baggies.

I know you don't have kids yet but I'm just curious on your opinion. I use paper towels for cleaning up my daughter's potty accidents if she has one. Would you just dedicate some old hand towels to clean that up? I just get so weird about that lol but just wondering what you'd do.
I recently stared potty training my son, so I just bought some wash clothes from the dollar store. They come in a pack of 4. For that very reason. I keep them in a little basket next to his potty.

i want to get rid of aluminum foil. i really do, but i still eat meat, and when i make it we use foil to brown the chicken. i haven't found an alternative to that yet :( and yes we;ve tried going vegetarian did not work for us.
I don’t eat meat, but have you tried baking paper.
aluminium foil is not good for your health. If you know that maybe it is easier for you to let it go 😊

I’ve heard of some people trying parchment paper or even a Dutch oven. Maybe look into those! :)
I have to grab some unpaper towels! (Once my current stock of kitchen towels is no longer usable.) We got a super easy to install bidet off Amazon so I got the Marley's Monsters reusable toilet paper - it's a total game-changer. Highly recommend and my butthole has never been cleaner, idk what I was doing for the last 31 years.

Reusable ziploc bags are a waste of money if you have kids because they just throw them in the garbage when they’re at school. They’re also a pain to clean
Unfortunately they are not allowing reusable bags right now while the pandemic is going on...
