Sharan Forest / Manshi Top) CPEC from Abbottabad to Mansehra and from Mansehra to Balakot and Naran, the left hand side at Paras is about 14 km while the four-by-four jeep trek of one and a half hours takes you up to Sharan, the place where your thoughts forget the world and God. The various sounds of birds and insects make you forget the world, you are left alone in the forest. There are 11 beautiful wooden pods established by the government since 2016, 3 of them. Pods with 4 beds are priced at Rs 5,000 while 8 pods with 2 beds are priced at Rs 3,000. Apart from this, there are 8 camps in which four to six people can come. The rent per camp is Rs 1,000. You can also go camping.
For that, you will recharge from 1000 to 500 rupees per camp.
People also call it Sharan, in this forest of Sharan, deodar, beard, pattal, kail trees are mostly found, by trekking for two hours from Sharan you can reach Manshi top from where you can see many clouds. You can see the Pangai Peaks, besides a half hour walk you can also see a beautiful waterfall, since this is all forest area, try to take a local guide with you.
