Why are you shocked? Elvis was a very smart guy. If he didn’t record that song you bet your bacon there was a good reason behind that. But if you really think about it, Louis Armstrong’s song is a staple to this day. There is no way Elvis would want to compete with a legend. Legends don’t do that to each other

As a person who has listened to quite a few Elvis AI performances (and there are plenty of well-intended efforts that are not great), this is one of the best so far. This is beautiful. The model you've used (the original singer, not the Elvis dataset) has done a fantastic job. This is one of those rare instances where the song has the soul of Elvis, which typically comes from the original singer -- most of whom A) have their own style, or B) don't do some of the inflections that Elvis did naturally. We are really early in the AI process but at this stage, you have created an absolute gem. It's a beautiful song and the Elvis AI has done a wonderful job with it. Really well done -- good job!!!

But probably, AI will achieve this goal by improving itself by a deepmind type computing and access to informations about human voice feelings. AI is really fascinating, but we are only at the beginning of it, despite decades of history.

When I saw this post I was so excited to listen to it! To have Elvis’ incredible voice elevate this song, to have his amazing band follow his every cues, to have the sweet inspirations fill up the gap and back him up all the way to the end like bright angels… well, after listening to this AI version, I can tell you one thing; if I sing the original Louis Armstrong song in a karaoke with the Elvis voice and intonation you will have a better experience. And I’m not even an Elvis impersonator!!! Bottom line, if you think this is a beautiful version of a fake Elvis song… You need some schooling. And screw the AI who made this garbage. Try it again in 5 years. Maybe you’ll get it right then
