I love this video. My husband and I watch a lot of walking around Japan videos and you are the first who actually takes the time to look from side to side into the shops and places instead of just staring straight ahead. Looking in all the shops and restaurants and soaking up all the embiance of the area is exactly what we want to see when we watch these videos so thank you very much. I look forward to watching all of your videos.
Kamakura was the capital of Kamakura Shogunate from 1180 to 1333. Very long history. From 37:10 this shrine Tsurugaoka Hachimangu has also more than 800 years history and one of the most famous shrines in Greater Tokyo area. It was around the century when the Ghost of Tsushima was happened. 48:10 This small stage called Maiden, Lower Worship Hall, where a traditional Japanese wedding ceremony is held. A woman priestess is performing a dance to the god and you can see a bride wearing the white attire and a groom wearing the black one on the left side 50:48.
At the moment you cannot travel through Corona. Hence the videos from Rambalac great. The longing for travel is satisfied a little. Thank you Rambalac! Keep it up!
Thank you for your work. I've started a habit of pulling up your videos on my living room TV and walking or running in place with them. Beats my boring, quiet, nothing of a neighborhood.
@@edtomorrow OMG you just reminded me I bought a stationary bike adapter thing for my bike from my friend last year and totally forgot about it. I'm so excited!
@@nickparente yeah, that’s what I have too. She basically just gave it away to me. Works like a charm. As an added bonus I started to learn to read Japanese while riding and or watching his videos as well. I just pause when I see some sign or marquee and use my KANA chart to translate them. Then bust out the dictionary to find the meanings. Doesn’t work all the time but it’s fun. 🤷🏻♂️😝👍
@@edtomorrow haha, nice! Learning hiragana and katakana before I went to Japan in 2019 made the experience so fun! Even if sometimes I can't even understand what I'm reading but at least I can read it 😂
I always make a point to watch these videos. In the US it's hard to go out like this, when I used to go for walks in the city so often. Over the past few months, these videos have really been a positive and helpful thing for me with quarantine. Thank you for so much for taking the time to do these!
I see scenes like this --> 36:40 , then compare it with what I see on the streets here in Buenos Aires and I cry... Everybody would be walking all over those streets running red lights and that... and littering. I can't even travel around here, so your videos help me go for a walk over new places, and specially Japan which I freakin' love. Thanks for sharing your walks with us!
Wow this walk is Brilliant, I came here to get a view of Mount fuji but it was very hot and over cast but the very big Buddha made of Bronze was amazing @ 13m high, I did not see the rest of the town/city its amazing & beautiful, love the small shrines & temples so looking forward to coming back. Your camera gear we saw in the round mirror looks very impressive. Take care best wishes from the U.K. ✌🌟🙂😊☕⛩🎎🍺😎🖐
Thankfully the birds and animals speak the same language around the world. ❤️ Imagine 100 years from now that generation will watch these walks. Hi to them ❤️
The Strawberry topped treat at 26:30... I wish I could have tasted this, it looked fantastic. Walking youtuber needs delicious energy, and that looks like it could have fueled a marathon.
I just lo🧡ve the narrow, crowded shopping streets rather than high end shopping streets..There’s something extraordinary about the residential areas in Japan.. 🙏Thanks for including both my favourites 🤩😻
Thank you for doing this. It's so relaxing to watch and helps me feel a little more connected with the world. Japan's cities are so beautiful and clean.
Thank you for this video. Due to COVID and inability to travel, I am using your videos as a mean to see new places. I specially like the fact that the videos are being uploaded very quickly. Thank you!
I have watched some of your videos the last few days and after the video is over having a feeling that if I open my door I will be in Japan.😊. It’s actually rather a nice feeling!
Когда бываю в Японии, иногда ловлю себя на мысли, что хочется выскочить из поезда на первой попавшейся станции и пойти бродить без карт и маршрутов по неизведанным местам!
I also find it funny when people notice you are filming XD But it's also interesting too looking at the residential areas and seeing the difference in style of the housing. Like you can tell which houses have been around for a long time to those who are more recent. Some are traditional and some are western influenced. Pretty sweet.
Awesome video, thanks. Sad to see who Omotesando has lost so many of the best old shops to modern restaurants. It used to be a really great place to find souvenirs of a more genuine kind that the t-shirts and candy.
40:40 Nice man feeding the 🦆 ducks and seagulls!👍 Oh several people do that!! Some kind of tradition?! The only thing I miss in your videos are the smells of food, fresh air and sea! But we will have to wait for future inventions!😄😘🐾 Thank you, Rambalac!🥰 Really enjoy this! 1:12:19
Watching people bustle like this used to make me super-nervous when I was young. Now I'm almost 30 at the time of writing this, and I can never get enough of this sensation. The pulse of the people!
Thanks for this beautiful walk ! I didn't know Kamakura at all, and it's a very dynamic place with lot of shops ! Tokyo is so big ! I still have so many places to discover ! I'm counting on you Rambalac to show me all! 😁 Thanks for sharing 😊 Merci beaucoup ! 😊
the whole place just gives off cute and cozy vibes 🥺 EDIT: Also those cars driving while people are walking scare me bc in America people go 100miles/160 km near school zones when children are crossing
this man deserves "the walk" award
Lol you mean the “wok” award
@@AdrienBong Hahahahahahaha 👍🏽👍🏾
So damn clean the streets and roads...
Your hobby is wonderful.. 🍿
In study hall, and now got that nice background noise with beautiful visuals to put on! Thanks again
That sounds perfect :)
The only person I’ll watch walk around
I luuuurv Kamakura. Close to ocean, close to mountains and a lot of old history.
I love this video. I like the relaxed pace of this one, taking time to look at things like displays and shops.

Thanks for this! I was hoping someone could tell what the ceremony was about in the comments. Watching this makes me feel lots of things
Can you explain that giant wall of what look like jars of stuff? Are they used in the ceremonies or something else?
That's sake donations
Man, I love these videos.
They help me to zoom out when I am stressed.

Your videos are the most relaxing to watch. My favorite channel on TH-cam!!
Thank you for your work. I've started a habit of pulling up your videos on my living room TV and walking or running in place with them. Beats my boring, quiet, nothing of a neighborhood.
I was just going to say the same. Except I use a stationary bike. Makes it so much more tolerable. 💥👍
That's a great idea!

I'm insanely in love and addicted to your channel. Thank you for keep walking and showing us Japan.
It looks amazing, residential area is so quiet and all surroundings are beautifull. I wish I could take a walk on those streets someday.
Imagine how extraordinarily beautiful rural Japan would be if they just buried all the power lines.
Love your content, always feels like a new adventure,
thank you mate!

Kamakura a nice place to live, watched the whole video !
Отлично! Полное погружение! Ещё можно запрыгнуть в попутный местный поезд или автобус. Проехать одну остановку. Было бы интересно.

I always look forward to the vending machine visit XD but another great vid. So cool.

Nice video... peacefully
Those back neighborhoods at 1:05:00 are really nice I wouldn't mind leaving in an area like that. So calm and low key. Beautiful neighborhood.
I’m going to start my weekend right.
Hallo. Schöne Grüße aus Deutschland. Timeline 29.45 . Bin immer wieder begeistert von Japan. Mein schönster Urlaub war dort.
after 2 minutes of watching this video i can see why japan has done relatively well in this pandemic.
the eagles are so nice! thanks!
