I love what this video brings up. Sometimes I am watching van videos and I am just astounded by the amount of storage. It feels like it defeats the purpose of living light if you're bringing your whole life with you. I. An extreme minimalist who owns almost nothing and I get rid of things probably on a monthly to bi-monthly basis. Yes, with as little as I have, I still find things I'm not using and keeping around for wishful thinking.

I downsized from an 8 Bedroom House to a 2 Bedroom Cottage, but I’m still dealing with the half full 10’ x 10’ x 10’ Shipping Container of Overflow, located in My Backyard. I’ll get there eventually, but it might take a while.
Exactly how I feel. I lived in a van for almost 2 years. Then a sailboat I’m in sticks and bricks now because I’m rebuilding my van inside. Spring I’ll probably be back in the van. Just found you on TH-cam. Definitely going to subscribe
Thank you! I love it. The interior length is slightly shorter than other vans but that's a trade off I am happy to make for the reliability and cheaper maintenance costs. No complaints!
Did you just say DONUTS? In 1990 I finally got my dream boat, a 36 foot Gibson House Boat. Like a van, everything has a place and when the boat gets rocking, if you did not secure that thing, would be flying, spilling, breaking all over the galley deck. After 3 years one sunny day as I walked down the docks, exhausted from my 2 jobs working 12 to 15 hours a day, I asked myself a question. Do I own this boat or does the boat OWN ME. I sold it and bought a nice carbon fiber Sawyer Loon kayak and had a lot better life. So ask yourself when you pick up something in your van???????
great ocean road??? backdrop? vanlife makes you appreciate what you need not what you want. l have one weeks clothes. 3 pairs of shoes and thongs. happiest ever.
Hahaha...why does my van look like this??? huh? I just laughed. Shows you are busy with other priorities. Thats' at least what I am going to tell myself when my van gets like this. Hahaha But as I am starting to clean out and pack my Nissan NV space is definitely limited. I don't even have room under neath my bed. Full of batteries etc. Soon. I hope to share some photos.
Yeah after the holidays I had extra stuff and after cleaning out my Dad's house to sell I adopted a few things I didn't want to see go in the trash. This video is my response to that. Public accountability to clean. Pictures please, would love to see!
