For iphone 8 and newer my shop orders the whole housing and we just transfer over all parts and the MB. Expensive but people do them still!

My ipad pro 12. has the same issue, It was just along one of the long edges, now I see it in the center, but it’s only when i’m on a pure white screen ? can see just a hint along the edge on a dark screen but not very noticeable like this one. Can you fix my ipad?
Hi what did the dark spots came from at the iPad? I had one with spot’s but sent it to Apple.

Just swap the frame since it comes with the new glass anyway. Customers pay 170 to 250 for an iPhone 8-X housing swap no problem and the profit margins are good. Way easier then chiseling off glass only to damage the Wifi antenna coil lol There are some really good housings that already come with the dock connector, volume and power keys pre installed.

It's a defect that happens to every unit don't even bother replacing

Hello am from India on my iPad Pro a very thin horizontal line comes on a particular space for few seconds and automatically disappear after ,it comes couple of time in a day and some times it not appear work fine without line .when I try to take screenshot it no comes in screen .can you guide its a display problem or any circuit issu .I am student and in India Apple serine very bad .plz help I want to share video what kind of line but where .

I have the same problem but the white and dark spots only happen on a certain angle. So is a repair necessary? (The issue rarely happens)

sumit deswal i’ve bought a stiffer and larger case to compensate, yes it does make it a lot thicker but It almost never happens anymore. I’ve decided to not repair it since i would just buy the newer iPad Pros if it breaks instead.

They will give you a refurbished device. They won’t give you the newer model.
I had 3 ipad pro 2017 12.9 and every one of them had this issue. But on long side of screen. It happens after q year and 1 month of use on average. I went to apple service every time and they gave me new one every time. Right now my 3rd ipad is having same issue again

Completely unexpected. I had the same issue on iPad Pro 12.9, replaced on warranty. Well I have something similar on the replaced one too. It develops with time. I thought it is LCD microcrack.

What is the reason for these spots?
Either the tablet was dropped and screen got damaged or it could be the screen was replaced without disconnecting battery first causing motherboard backlight issue.
