Update: It seems the data source I am using had a date range that is different from this tutorial. Once I changed the range of my date table, it worked. -- I made it to 1:43:45 in the tutorial. The data didn't import as expected, possibly because of changes to PowerBI since this was created. I was able to generate everything via measures, but when I pull the Year to the model, I get nothing. I was able to change the summarization, so I do not know why I'm not getting the "by year" data.

Hi Learn It Team - I am having a problem with my pie charts, the data labels show the correct % but the pie is all one color, it doesn't show the % represented in the filter, said another way, the piece of the pie doesn't show in the graphic, just in the data label. Do you know how to correct?
The new version of Power BI doesn't have Import -> Excel Workbook Contents. How can we load the whole data into Power BI in the new version? I couldn't find a way. thanks.
I found a solution. go to the Data Tab, select the table, then select the measure in that table. If at the top of the screen you have a tab called 'Measure Tools', then click on the dropdown next to the command called 'format' and select 'Percentage'. I hope that helps!

I think when calculating profit that there needs to be a "Returns COGS" to reduce the COGS to adjust for the reduced COGS from the returned product!
This is correct. Most people aren't accountants though so they don't realize the relationship.

download the parent folder instead. it is called 'Exercise Files.zip' . Just select it and click 'Download' button.
