Victor's character in this cut is given so much more depth it's actually disrespectful that he was dumbed down to a 'Booyah' in the theatrical release.

Cyborg helping that struggling single mother was one of the best highlights of the film. Very emotional and showed a lot of his character and heart. Snyder cut did him justice (no pun intended)

Same. I’ve always been a Marvel fanboy. Besides The Dark Knight trilogy and Man of Steel, I never put much stuck in live action DC. I grew up on the cartoons, but I never thought this cut would have changed things as much as it did. It absolutely blew me away and gave me hope for DC again.
I think this is how superhero movies should aspire to be. It had the perfect balance of gore/dark and hope/optimism in it. Cyborg's arc is probably the best I've seen in a single comic book movie in a long time. Most superhero media these days are either too corny (WW84) or too generic (Couple mcu movies like black widow recently). Snyder Cut was a welcome change
Martian Manhunter aka General Swanwick, who appeared in Man of Steel and Batman v Superman. It makes a lot of sense if you look at that scene in MoS where Clark breaks out from the handcuffs and everyone steps back in fear except General Swanwick!
I completely agree!! He looked so humble and vulnerable at some moments and I was surprised at how much I ended up liking the dude! After a while I was even hoping he betrayed Darksied again by the end or something.
This movie isn’t one to watch with friends cause you’ll most likely crack jokes and miss very very tiny parts that complete the entire experience. I think as a second watch it’s better with friends but definitely a fun and serious movie. I’m glad it’s out and everyone is enjoying it

With the 4:3 aspect ratio Snyder is basically giving a master class in film making to all would be film makers. It was expertly executed and the end result is a masterpiece. Every shot is simply amazing. If you zoom into 16:9 and then zoom out to 4:3 you would understand why he picked this format. Amazing film I wish more super hero movies in the future would use this format. It just makes the heroes look so much taller and larger than life. Snyder is a genius

I had incredibly low expectations of this movie. I knew it definitely would be better than the original mishmash but nit by that much. But Holy shit this was actually amazing. If this had come out in 2017 I would have actually had hope for the DC cinematic universe.
The difficulty was that it needed to be this length, or close to it, and the studio in 2017 was insisting on a two hour run time. You can see that, even if Zack Snyder had remained in control, he would have been severely restricted, and the end product would probably still have fallen short of this. That fact that the project was handed off to someone else mid-stream only turned a disappointment into a disaster.
Steppenwolf CGI in the Joss Weeden version was redone by Joss because he didn't like Zacks version. Rumor has it Joss reshot 50% of the movie, rewrote the script, cut all of the IMAX scenes, changed the color grading, and had the CGI completely redone. The Steppenwolf CGI in this is what Joss cut out of the theatrical cut. This is the most epic superhero movie ever!

Based on the backstory the reason he’s exiled is because he attempted to overthrow Darkseid by doing something with the mother boxes.

This movie isn’t one to watch with friends cause you’ll most likely crack jokes and miss very very tiny parts that complete the entire experience. I think as a second watch it’s better with friends but definitely a fun and serious movie. I’m glad it’s out and everyone is enjoying it

That by default makes it the better option because it's not unnecessary nonconsenting contact that only benefited Barry. With the 4:3 aspect ratio Snyder is basically giving a master class in film making to all would be film makers. It was expertly executed and the end result is a masterpiece. Every shot is simply amazing. If you zoom into 16:9 and then zoom out to 4:3 you would understand why he picked this format.
Amazing film I wish more super hero movies in the future would use this format. It just makes the heroes look so much taller and larger than life. Snyder is a genius

I had incredibly low expectations of this movie. I knew it definitely would be better than the original mishmash but nit by that much. But Holy shit this was actually amazing. If this had come out in 2017 I would have actually had hope for the DC cinematic universe.

The difficulty was that it needed to be this length, or close to it, and the studio in 2017 was insisting on a two hour run time. You can see that, even if Zack Snyder had remained in control, he would have been severely restricted, and the end product would probably still have fallen short of this. That fact that the project was handed off to someone else mid-stream only turned a disappointment into a disaster.

Steppenwolf CGI in the Joss Weeden version was redone by Joss because he didn't like Zacks version. Rumor has it Joss reshot 50% of the movie, rewrote the script, cut all of the IMAX scenes, changed the color grading, and had the CGI completely redone. The Steppenwolf CGI in this is what Joss cut out of the theatrical cut. This is the most epic superhero movie ever!

The Synder Cut was definitely better than what we originally got in theaters, it’s a solid superhero movie 7/10👌🏾; maybe a 7.5/10.

44:09 yeah steppenwolf was barely a character in the theatrical version all he wanted was power. Here is where some people have pity since he just wants to go back home. Based on the backstory the reason he’s exiled is because he attempted to overthrow Darkseid by doing something with the mother boxes.
It was interesting to hear Micky word his opinion that way. I liked the first but I think that's the way I felt too. There's a difference between liking it and being emotionally impacted, and the second movie emotionally impacted me. 🙌🏾

There are justice leagues stories where they all meet each other because of a crisis in the world. So back stories are not too important for a justice league movie like this one.
