I love how in this interaction she starts by poking at him about the cover, hinting that she wants it to be more and he doesn't even mention the cover once. In this moment he is showing her how much he cares while she's still struggling with her feelings and they both play their parts so well. They had the best on screen chemistry of any romance I have ever seen in t.v. Love this show. I refuse to watch season 5 because I know what happens and I choose to ignore it's existence xD
You have to watch season 5. It is a vexing season and the last two episodes will drive you nuts, but there are quite a few great episodes in the season. And at the end, they both fight through the worst the spy world can throw at them, and they do wind up together.
I really didn't like season 5, they didn't work as spies for the US government they had their own consulting company and Chuck bought the Buy More . Chuck wasn't the Intersect anymore and I am not sure if Sarah and Chuck would still be together at the end, they need to do a movie!
I think people are misunderstanding the final in season 5, despite Sarah´s lost memory with only a few glimps almost in the end and tell she belives him but don´t feel nothing, she starts having feelings after some moments with him, seing his unconditional love for her, "raising the guard", especially when she asked him to tell their story, warming her heart in the end and asking him to kiss her after he suggested it
i saw the scene where sarah killed the Fulcrum agentn randomly years ago when i was in bed about to sleep, i remember that scene with the song being in my head for weeks. then i started watching the 1st episode and binged untill the last episodes that aired( i believe it was't finished yet at that time). that was the first time i binged a show, Chuck and Heroes are what started my love for tv shows. i will rewatch this every few years until i die

She fell in love a long time ago when she witnessed a kind act by a decent man. The little girl and her father. Sarah and Chuck brought out the best in each other.
And later in that episode she kills the unarmed Fulcrum agent in cold blood after he tells her he will hunt Chuck down and never give up. She may not have done that except for Chuck giving her the bracelet. She knew at that instant that he loved her and she knew she loved him the same. Such a great show.
In Season 3, Sarah confessed to Chuck that she fell in love with him right between the time he fixed her phone in the pilot and when he fixed the bomb with the Irene Demova Virus. This bracelet moment helped her realize she wanted to be with Chuck.
Im a guy who doesn't really like to show too much emotions but when I saw this seen I damn well near teared up lol. I watched Chuck for the Nerd and spy stuff but became emotionally involved for the Chuck/Sarah moments like this lol.
One of my favorite episodes. The whole show was hitting on all cylinders. First time I noticed this continuity error. John calls his mother. Later we learned John's name is really Alex and he faked his own death. So he wouldn't have done either of those things. Still a good moment for that period in the series.
This error are there probably because when this episode came on the idea about alex coburn wasn't exlplored yet and if we want like find excuses to make this error less apparant we can say that john use this fake name for like 20 years or more and when he faked his death it was only to his fiancé and his unborn chiled maybe his mother was informed that he's still alive like it was the case for sarah's parent and why there parents actually call them by there fake name it's because they are used to know them with these name for a really long period so they got used to call them this way

Absolutely not! She was already in love since the pilot, but she didn't understand the feelings she had. Since she never feels that. But in this episode she realized, finally, that she is crazy in love with him. She even kills the fulcrum agent to protect her Chuck. That's love!
I think so too. What that really convinced me is the scene a little later where she is released and before going she hugs him and says "i'll never let *anything* hurt you" sold it for me. Especially what she has to do to protect him near the end. \

And then, in Chuck VS The Crown in Vic, she's clearly dismayed about Chuck's question about "the kiss" and later, at the holiday party at Buy More, just the way she looks at him, it's pretty obvious she's in love with him. Then, in the season 1 finale, when Chuck thinks he's going to be taken away, he even seems to realize it. I think that's why in season 2 episode 3, she's clearly upset after his explanation about how their relationship will never be real, even though she understands where he's coming from. But her dad accepting that their relationship is real was the clincher, for Sarah.

Honestly the way the show went in seasion is actaully really cool. We first see Chuck premature stuipid hilarious unserious kind of a dude. In seasion he starts going on the serious of things. Season 3 he actaully starts acting like proper spy/agent and in season 4 he solo agent yet has company.
Probably for the same reason Sarah's mom called her "Sarah" instead of her real name. Those are their official name now. But yeah the real reason was probably because they hadn't came up with "Alex Coburn" yet.

She Lost her memory. But not completely. She remembers things. And with time if not with „the magic KISS” she will remember more and more and with memories come feelings. But I think she already feel something but can’t understant this because of her blocked memories. But we see she want that life she had with Chuck, she wants to hear their story, she laughs and cries and asks him to KISS her. She already is more open than Sarah from season 1 and they don’t have handler/asset relationship and they don’t work CIA anymore. And she fell for him in the FIRST episode so we know she didn’t need a lot of time for that. And she was running from these feelings mostly because it was forbidden and she couldn’t Have any private/romantic relationship with Chuck. Although i prefer Happy endings I’m comforted by the fact that this isn’t a sad one. It’s the one where we Have to use our imagination and write ourselves how they get back to each other and how long it takes to fall in love again (for Sarah) and for memories to come back.
Also, I watched this show with my parents as a middle and high school. Now I am about to be paroled from CA state prison.. I hope to reconnect with my family.

But I should also tell you that there’s a sale on a streaming service called VUDU where you could buy the full series for about $35/$40. I bought the full series and can honestly say I regret nothing, this show deserved the money especially because I feel like it’ll show nbc that there’s still a fan base out there holding out hope for another season or at the very least a movie.
As great as 2 was, in retrospect all the starts and stops were kind of dumb. At the end of season 1, Chuck clearly knew Sarah was in love with him. And yet, by 2x3, he was back to being oblivious. And here, it was obvious he knew not just by this scene, but earlier in the episode during their interaction at the Orange Orange. And again, after this, he's completely oblivious again, until Chuck VS The Colonel. Really doesn't make sense.
Why is Casey using his cover name instead of his real name when he talks to his mom? Worse yet, "Johnny Boy" implies that "Johnny-boy" was his mom's childhood nickname for his. Why would his mom nickname him "Johnny-boy" when his name was not John?
