Hope you enjoyed this one! Joe is one of my favorite people. And there is so much to learn from the people who train the best in the world, especially when they're as serious about training themselves as they are their clients and teams. What other coaches/trainers would you be interested in me working with?
Joe mentioned Tim Anderson early on in the video, maybe bringing him on would be interesting! He's not too far away from you, and he's one of the nicest guys in the world. Plus he is absolutely brilliant.
May not have been a bunch of sexy, heavy lifting or massive feats of strength, but this was the most useful video you've put out for those of us that have past injuries to think about and train around. Can't speak for everybody, but for your slightly-older-than-you viewers hearing a guy talk about the strategy, the things he has to keep in mind and in-line, and hearing about pre-loading with the intention of determining whether or not it's a good day to do a heavy lift... invaluable advice.
Found this super interesting. I'm 48 and spent 22 years in the US Army. I'm slowly teaching myself how to lift without causing injury or aggravating a previous injury.
I am only 16 min into the vid and It is amazing to see how knowledgeable that man is. Juji you get the coolest guests. I have major envy of all the best of the best in exercise you get you workout with.
Can't believe I almost missed this one! Such a treasure trove of knowledge. His discussion on box squats changed my approach immediately. Thank you for showcasing people like Joe, a pleasure to learn from such a humble and passionate teacher.
This video speaks volumes for House. Everyone has basically shrugged off you not being able to feel RDLs and he is the first person that actually helped break the movement down for it to actually be productive
Been watching for years and honestly this is my favorite (serious) video content. I love the accessory instruction, developing the mind muscle connection and awareness in the exercise. This dude is a great coach.
I LOVED this video, so informative. I really enjoy when you pick the brains of different brilliant minds in the fitness industry and we get to come along for the ride!
I wish I had this dude lifting for college football 20 yeses ago. Maybe I wouldn't have gotten so burned out while not gaining any strength. Awesome video.
Horse linament is known in Eastern Martial arts as Dit Da Jow. It's a topical analgesic, or 'pain preventer', and it promotes higher circulation to the tissues it penetrates. We used to use it in the dojo to treat sprains and bruises because it forces circulation to tissues that are starved of blood. It can kill a bruise (bruises are common when you're hitting each other), and it relieves a sprain in a few minutes. Putting it on before heavy lifting is something that has existed for years. He knows his stuff! Only a minute in and I'm impressed by him.
@@devonsmith4764 As much as I hate calling things a 'miracle this' or what-have-you, it really is a must-have for an athlete looking to treat injuries or prevent them. I've been seeing it more in post-accident recovery and athletics and it makes me happy. Another one my sensei used to do is dissolving uncoated aspirin in alcohol with peppermint oil and using that as a topical ointment. Said it forced his joints to loosen and also prevented tissue breakdown after long sessions. Bear in mind, the guy could crescent kick a 200-pound body-sized heavy bag well into his 80s. Until he passed from diabetes. Still miss him.
My first comment was too early; Squat University just posted a short on the butt-touch que which I thought was genius too. Definitely gonna have to try.
I tore a backmuscle earlier this year, and even though I’m healing great I am now very stiff. I will be looking into a lot of these moves when I start working on mobility and stretching again!
Wow- been using the Absorbine Veterinary Liniment Gel for years. And the nasal spray pre-workout trick for years, too. Never conceived that anyone else would have figured out how much these help.
Former dairy farm boy friend here. That linament is spicy. Do not use your hands if you don't have to. It will melt things if you know what i mean. The tricks are real and i get it. Listen up to the old man when they talk. Well sometimes, if they are not your future wifes parents. Jufi, get to the win hoff center and dunk in some ice water. Or blast chiller. Nose breathing. Get to Patrick McEwan's centers. Or stig severensens house. It is dramatic for recovery and performance.

That was so fasntastically interesting. And Joe's enthusiasm is envigorating
Dan John and Tim Anderson
Bring this guy back many times. You can tell his knowledge is only surpassed by his passion. Pick his brain, film it all

This is by far one of the best instructional and fitness videos in a long time on any channel.

Thank you for your service, and best of luck with training.
That warm up could fit into almost any type of athletic sport. Beautifully designed

Couldn't have come at a more perfect time for me. Favorite video hands down.
I've been looking for a high quality warmup!

Awesome video.
Nice to hear him say this might not be the exercise for you and offer variations to get the target working. Not enough of this in training sometimes
I get a nasty rebound from Afrin. It clears you up better than anything but the next day I can barely breathe through my nose. I enjoyed the video.
That was some mind blowing and uplifting stuff!!

We used it in rugby all the time before games.

Powerlifters have been using it for decades as well
I am gonna copy paste this warm up routine on my leg days!

Juji coming in clutch
One of the best videos on your channel, in my opinion :)
Wow. What a great video. Well done.
Juji, has really transformed his physique, ɓ

1000th like whoop!!! Never had that moment 🎉😂❤

Big mans with big hearts for the sport!
LVH ain't no joke
That good morning machine is dope
Favorite video of yours lately, Coach is always enthralling to listen to. As an older fat guy, i need all his information to stay mobile.
Ya'll looked like you were having TOO much fun XD great video! Super insightful
I’m excited for this video
Big House!!!

This was a brilliant video juji. Had it on for my cardio and didn't even notice I'd been going for 30minutes. I usually only do twenty 😂
AS someone with hips and lower back issue, i want to start doing this and see how it can help me. Ill try to remember to update in a few months.
What a interesting guy and video, mad respect to Joe and you Juji.
Very captivating, love it
This was really interesting, thanks.
This lesson was phenomenal. More please!
awesome video,
Great video!
Very very good seminar which all makes sense
Might need to try something like this
Really good , thanks
Hope you're doing well it was a bummer looking forward to your videos when you had a bit of a hiatus. I enjoyed watching them.
Brian is gonna Kill someone if he lands those elbows : 0
AWESOME!!!
This guy is an animal. More of him
Didn't know what you could do with bands, thanks
Really want a dedicated routine on the OTC meds he uses for preworkout, never heard of nasal spray
Fwiw, the guy has done a few podcasts with Mark Bell
My grandma taught me that trick with the horse muscle cream guaranteed to relieve muscle pains
Juji is built for MMA/Kickboxing

Absolutely stealing the butt touch deadlift
8 hour shoulder workout
Including 3+ rotator exercises
ngl the sniffing in the background was killing me but amazing video as always
How can I condense that warmup? With my hours I only have 45 mins to lift each day
I thought Brian did all his own programming and training plans.
Where can I buy the bar speed measuring device? :O
What deadlift platform is this?
Bazinga
Do more vids with Anton and Magnus
would like to see mike israetel on this one lol
Exactly what I was thinking. Alot of this seems dumb as fuck 😂
But hey, I'm not a scientist. I'll be waiting for his scrutiny instead.
The 'activation' stage alone would lose so many pounds from a few people I know with a better meal plan.
Horse liniment contains a high amount of DMSO... kinda not good... LOL
Absorbine contains zero dmso… so there’s that.
nearly first??? Greets from Austria

He’s got that coach vibe going on with the shorts pulled up to his navel

Hany Rombod
Is this at Brian's gym?
Brian should have kept going with Arm wrestling, what a waste
Joe Ken couldn't handle me mocking a sumo deadlift and had to bring Ed coan in to defend himself. Joke of a coach.
You could just be a joke of a lifter
@@oceanbanana4341 My money's on you being right lol.
@@oceanbanana4341 try again homie
@@oceanbanana4341 no other context than saying sumo is for girls, and he acted like a girl.

Lmao i was 4th tho
You can be strong, but really tired of it being an excuse to be fat and metabolically unhealthy
