Liquid ashtray, very sooty, very peaty. 43% ABV. It’s got a beautiful golden sheen. It’s not colored. That is the natural color of the casks. It’s medium/light bodied. Nose: Medicinal, a bit fruity, wood-shavings, a hint of mint and pepper. On the palette: a lot of oak, wood spices, tea, some herbal notes, aspartame, a little chemical sweetness. A little asphalt and tar, quite light though. All in all, damn good scotch. A good entry level smoky/peaty whisky for starters. One of my favorites. Cheers!

Kanwar, Maker’s Mark is bourbon. I feel your heart is in the right place when you’re doing these reviews, but your mind is not. Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy them nevertheless. Kanwar Anand A detuned guitar can breathe some beautiful music. In fact, it’s a valid technique. I can tell you because I’ve been playing the instrument for almost 2 decades now. Ah! Good to know. I'm from Hotel Managment field. Currently sitting idle at home due to the pandemic. I wish to work in the Hotel field in outside India someday. But looks like i wont be going anywhere for a while. Hopefully, I'll join some place outside Delhi in the month of Jan/Feb.
