For everyone confused on how to verify your identity. What helped me was going to the app, clicking on inbox, then clicking on TikTok shop and completing the application. Hope this helps clear up any confusion!
While trying to fill out the application, I faced several errors which prevented me from submitting it successfully. Despite my attempts to fix the issue, I was unable to do so. Finally, I submitted a verification request to TikTok in hopes of resolving the problem. However, it has been a while, and I am yet to receive any response from them.

Hello, this worked for me but the next day I got a violation saying my funds are being freezed for 30 days. I’m only using it for the affiliate side of things not the tik tok shop. It wants me to verify my warehouse and my business address, so if I don’t have those things can I not do it?

So you MUST have an actual business registered... otherwise this will NOT work. Just tried this and received a "Violation Enforcement Notification" - that I was in violation of TikToks policies, so they are freezing any earnings for 30 days. It shows me a Record ID number and nothing next to product ID or Order ID. It asks that if it is a mistake, for me to provide an image of your state business registration document and ID card (no digital/scanned), next to a handwritten note with your Shop name and the date. ID's accepted are Driver's License, Identification Card, Permanent Resident Card, Passport Card and Passport. We ask that you also provide supporting documents with a minimum of two (2) of the following: warehouse documents displaying warehouse address, inventory invoices, bank statements, IRS documents showing registered business name and address, or recent utility bills that show your registered Shop name and address.

what people dont state when you link your account to the tiktok shop or as marketing account is that your tiktok is made a "business account" which means you lose the ability to use certain sounds etc because of copyright. So understand if you are trying to use your "personal" account that's what will happen. This is why they are telling you to make a separate business account to setup the tiktokshop with.

Great video! I just subscribed! I am wondering about starting with a brand new tik tok account, I don't want to use my existing personal account. Do I need to have my new tik tok account with my personal name or a business name? Are tik tok shop, business and regular all different accounts? Thank you!

what people dont state when you link your account to the tiktok shop or as marketing account is that your tiktok is made a "business account" which means you lose the ability to use certain sounds etc because of copyright. So understand if you are trying to use your "personal" account that's what will happen. This is why they are telling you to make a separate business account to setup the tiktokshop with.
