I can't really give you tax advice as it's not allowed. Contact an accountant, usually fairly cheap in the UK
You received order on 16th and was dispatched at 20. It took 4 days Avasam to dispatch. It's to late for tiktok. Cuz we have to place tracking id in 24 to 48 hours.

In terms of 'Shipped via platform' being switched off, how does this affect the products you already sell on tiktok shop that ARE shipped via platform?
Hey this doesn’t look very profitable though given how much products are on TikTok compared to getting the products from alibaba directly I’m a bit confused because I’m sure most TikTok shops are getting stock from the likes of alibaba

I am seeking clarification regarding the dropshipping model on TikTok. I have observed recommendations within this group to source products from Amazon. However, I am perplexed by the notion that if we list products from Amazon with a margin price, why would buyers choose to purchase from me instead of directly from Amazon, which may offer a lower price?

If a customer sends an item back, and I receive it, how will I resell it? As to my understanding, when someone makes an order, the drop shipping company send it. So how would this work?
One more question, if the item sent back to me is faulty, would I just send it back to the dropshipping company to get a refund for what I paid for it?

CJ drop shipping took forever to ship products. And TikTok only allows 3 days to get things shipped. The TikTok shop platform is so difficult they banned me and never said why

The problem is that in the UK the wholesale products are too expensive to make much profit on TikTok when competing and the choice is poor. Importing from China is the only way forward to make decent profit. So really I have to risk a ban or direct to my actual website. How often do the bans actually happen Elliott?
This is a great way to test which products sell well. If you sell 100 of a product in a week using Dropshipping, you can then have more confidence in purchasing in bulk from China. So use Dropshipping to test, the profits will of course be much smaller. Yes, the bans will happen. You must enter in a TikTok Shop approved courier tracking number, which Dropshipping from China won't allow you to do. If you get a high amount of orders, all of them will be cancelled and your customers will get refunded. Then you have a huge headache of trying to get your money back from the supplier. If enough if your orders get cancelled, you will eventually get banned because your store health will be extremely low

This syncs with TikTok as Yodel UK and the tracking number shows up with no issue etc. Is it possible it might have changed recently?

Can someone enlighten me how this is worth the effort. If a bracelet is bought for £7 and sold for £12 that leaves £5 profit and you pay an influencer 20% which leaves £4. The basic plan in £30 for 50 fulfilments and that leaves £170 profit. Doesn't seem worth the effort unless you was to sell thousands and I wouldn't expect that to be the case in the uk
Its mostly a scam from these You Tubers to sign up to Avasam. There are loads of people selling the same crap
so, more or less we have to pay suppliers out of pocket because tiktok don't pay suppliers to fullfill orders, But we do get the money from the orders from tt whenever they get around to processing the payment--is this what i am understanding?

One thing I wanted to ask - I'm in the UK and a lot of the suppliers don't necessarily stock the "winner" products that come off the back of viral videos like the Astro Projector for example. In the case for testing, would a small inventory batch sent over from China to UK 3PL be best way to do this?
From my understanding using 3PL's usually come with certain criteria; Proven sales over a given period, minimum sales quantities/pallet quantities etc...For lets say, someone who doesn't have that much start up capital (unless I was really onto a winner then I'd find the money somehow) how would you go about this? and is there any other alternative to 3PLs?
Just order to your home and fulfil the orders yourself
Don't bother using these drop shipping suppliers all the products are really standard/cheap and expensive

Don’t bother… tiktok shop prioritises Chinese sellers so your UK based products won’t even be found. Not only that but the Chinese sellers are able to sell products at dirt cheap Temu prices…
These Avasam prices + shipping are terrible, you’d have to sell that bracelet in the example for £20 to make profit , and nobody is buying that for £20, when the same product is also on tiktok shop for £4 by a Chinese seller

You can connect TikTok Shop to Shopify but you can't sell products being directly shipped from China. They need to be warehoused in the UK

I am a resident in the UK and have recently created a TikTok Shop account. However, I am not a British citizen and do not possess a UK license. My identification documents are from the EU. I submitted my passport for verification, but it was rejected. Is there an alternative way around this? There is one option, which is changing my license to a UK one, but I'm unsure how long it will take.
