Three Kinds of Recorder: Renaissance, Ganassi, and Baroque

- Van Eyck's tune "Doen Daphne d'over schoone Maeght" played by Ucci Uccini with Moeck Renaissance, Suzuki Ganassi, and Moeck Rottenburgh (Baroque), for comparison.
Someone raised a question of fingering. But more important difference is the range of sound; Ganassi type has a much wider range than Renaissance type, and this means there are structural difference between the two types, Historians of renaissance music, or makers of these instruments may provide information.
What beautiful sounds!!!!! Van Eyck, Daphne 😊 Renaissance and Ganassi have the best sounds (in my humble opinion).
I choose the Renaissance. I find the tone subtle but strong in the low as well as in the high notes
I really like your performance on this youtube channel.
However, you may wish to change the recording device or your after sound processing / mixing routine. The sound quality is rather odd to me - it seems that every note is overblown.
+Ivan Fong Thanks for you advice. I've been using "GarageBand" but I know it's far from satisfactory. However, since my music is evolving, maybe I should consider a new, alternative software for recording.
Where do German and modern pitch fall in comparison?
The performances are all in modern pitch. The comparison of baroque pitch and modern pitch is shown in another video.

Suzuki Ganassi (soprano) recorder is a newest item of my instruments. It looks fine, but I have to tame it!

But depending on which country you are living, it may be much easier to find appropriate makers in your country.
Please, does anybody know, what's the main difference between: "Renaissance" and "Ganassi" recorders design? I suppose that both those types are cylindrical "wide" bore (while the most common "Baroque" has tapered bore), but I did not hear about any difference between "Renaissance" / "Ganassi" (/ "Kynseker") yet. Thanks a lot.
+Jan Trhlík For us players, the major difference is in fingering. My Renaissance must be played by "baroque fingering", but of course there is "Renaissance fingering". Ganassi's fingering is different, and it has different cross-fingering. This of course implies some structural differences. But I am not an expert.
Could you clarify what fingering differences there are? Or is the entire system different? I was never aware that Ganassi's fingering system differed from the standard "Baroque" (or maybe the "German") fingering.

The different fingering apply ownly to some notes e.g f, fis,ges . According to the chart the fingering is very similar to a Baroque recorder. But I am also not an expert and I have never played a Ganassi recorder since they are quite expencive.
