Bro the upscaling on sony tv’s is simply majestic! If you’re watching mostly 4k then get the lg g3 but if you’re like me and watch just HD and never 4k this TV is simply amazing! 👍🏽🤩
@@Techninjaspeaksyeah, SUV cars outsell hatchbacks, sedans and so on. But if you care about cars and driving experience then you won't buy an SUV my dude. It's the same with soundbars.
I don't know how much rich you are but that model isn't budget and it cost 3000 US dollar in many countries in the world and even in the US the budget model is the a75l, thanks for sharing
From a consumer perspectice you're totally right. Makes a great picture - out of the box! Using a sony soundbar and the tv as a center is also a good idea.
hi love your content! I need a 645 inch tv for my basement bedroom.....the Bravia 8 just came out and im also looking at the a80l which is still available ....which one should go for?
Decent review. However, when you compare this to other brands and call out the HDR differences without disclosing those models you are doing a disservice to this great model overall. Btw... What other non Sony OLED has better audio output than this one?
Really? “If you take sound seriously, you’ll get a SOUND BAR”? More like if you take sound seriously, you’ll have at least (at a minimum) 5.1 surround.
How is a 2000 dollar tv a budget” tv? That’s already a high end tv not the highest but literally just 200 dollars less than the Samsung s95c which is a high end tv
I wasted 8mins of my life only to realized that this isn't really "budget" per say.. might be slight cheaper in the oled category, but the price is still far from budget. I've been lieddddddd
Do not buy this tv (XR65A80L). I have had mine less than 2 months and already have burn-in from the roku TH-cam app. I have a 10 min screen saver and shut the tv off when I leave the room, so it's not like I am leaving a static image all the time.
Anyone who buys the A80L over the S90C is a fool. Except for picture processing, the Samsung is better in every way (especially in overall peak brightness and color reproduction via QD-OLED) plus the S90C is cheaper than the A80L due to the Sony brand tax.
A80L 83 inch has a better form factor plus a heat sync compared to the other sizes. BestBuy just dropped the price cheaper than the Black Friday sale from $4500 to $4000. This is a quality TV if you want the 83 inch size… anything lower I have to agree the s90c is much better bang for your buck with the QD OLED panel. Quality control shouldn’t deter you too much when you can have Best Buy open the box for you in the store and then ship it for free if you like it…
You your self admit that there is a reason to go for the A80L. If brightness, color, and price is your main concern according to your logic you should go with a QD LCD otherwise you're a fool. All these TVs lack something no matter how much you pay anyways.
I really don't believe this guy has written budget tv for Sony A80L.
I hardly consider this a budget tv.
Budget OLED

Of course, how could we forget about 2000$ as being budget for an Oled tv

Why the G3 and not the sony?
"if you take audio seriously, you're going to buy a soundbar"
lol
lmao, even
Soundbars outsell full audio systems 10:1. Obviously there are the outliers but if you care how your stuff sound most people will buy a soundbar.

Im at the showroom rn, mans was not lying when he said the soundbar is important. HUGE difference

So, using GTA six in the screengrab was for what reason? Lol
It made you click
My next tv definitely will be OLED. All 3 are just great brands, still kind of hard to choose lol.
Go with Sony, hands down, best sound system.
What's that skateboarding game at 5:07?
OlliOlli World. It's great!
Great video bro! That price is super tempting with the sale especially on that 55" version.
Yessir! Thx for watching.
Great review! This helped me make a decision between the LGs and Sony
I know this is trivial, but is the remote backlit?
Nope.
The remote IS backlight. The remote model # RMF-TX910U
@@ben23a31Two remotes were supplied with my Sony XR-65A80L TV, Models RMF-TX810U & RMT-TX450E, neither of which are backlit. 👍

How is a $1500 priced tv a budget oled?
Did you talk about the price cos i didn't get it
Budget tv? It still costs like 1,5k after almost a year later. That price you get premium oled, especially 55'

Budget, you’re out of touch mate
I'm not. It's a budget OLED.
This is not at all budget at $2k. Budget would be under $500 maybe under $800.

biggest flaw sony A80k not bright enough lg c3 is brighter & better gaming tv
Not bright enough? Man i'm playing ff7 remake and had to lower the hdr because it was too bright lol
Got it days ago for 1599€ that's not budget tv 😂 but worth the money.
Sony x95l beats out samsung
LG OLED looks better
Nit picking 😂
Oled is for more realistic colours and darkest black, qled of samsung is a tv which is made for supper brightness but for unrealistic pictures,
Far from budget
