When I was in 1st grade it was pajama day and i wore a buck skin night gown bc in native American and yeah... To top it off, my hair was down to my butt and all the older kids made fun of me calling me Pocahontas. 😢 But jokes on them because my culture is beautiful

Yes but the only difference between the actual anastasia and the musical and movie is that anastasia died with her family. It's based off a theory that she might have survived. However pocahontas is a completely different story as that is not how the american Indians were treated. As much as I wish things didn't happen the way they did and my own grandfather came with onate, so as much as I wish I could say that I was proud of them for finding america and creating what is today our country its just wrong. They enslaved them, took away their culture, killed and wrongly portraying that is just not right. You do have a point though Anastasia was historically inaccurate but we weren't able to actually solve that mystery until dna testing advanced. The cruelty towards the american Indians has been unscripted in history.
