I often tend to stay at or near my main base (totally spawn and raid proof) for the first 10 or so minutes when logging in just for that reason, lol. I like to put a chest next to where I'll park my boat (next to the workbench) so I can unload and avoid any loss of good if the game crashes, etc. For Chitin - you pronounce the ch like a k.
@@TheRandyGr lol like kitten? Ok good to know I'll try to remember that 😸 how do you make a base raid proof? I'm also noticing whenever I log on that my rested is completely gone, even if I log out with a full buff. Weird stuff
@@Ziti_Sauce You never have the rested buff when you first log in. For spawn proofing I have a few dozen, maybe a hundred or two, campfires and work benches in and around my base. They prevent spawning in a certain radius. Even then I have my tamed army of a few hundred two star tamed wolves, lol.
@@TheRandyGr damn you are well prepped lol. Once I have a bunch more stone I'd love to build massive walls with workbenches everywhere in a big radius around my base to do something similar
@@Ziti_Sauce It's one of those things that you just keep adding campfires wherever you see mobs spawning. I also tend to gather up every tree and rock around my base so I have a wide open line of sight (aka field of fire) from my walls. I need to do a video tour of my base and post it, lol.
