Hey, thank you for sharing your doblo conversion. I just bought one on eBay and was hoping to start the conversion in a few months but spirit has got other plans 😂 the roof is leaking so will need to take off the headlining to suss it out. I’m a total newbie to this stuff and wondered if you might be able to give me a bit of guidance?

Apologies. I’m still trying to get to grips with it all. I don’t like seeing myself on the camera. I’ll try and get better and hopefully next year the videos will improve with better explanations and tutorials. 👍👍
Hello could you please help me I'm putting down a 18mm ply floor on the same make model doblo what size screws could I need and if I use long screws could I damage anything under the car thanks marty
Hi Martin, 18mm ply I used 32mm and 40mm self drilling screws and also apply sikaflex or ctl1 adhesive. Most places underneath you’ll avoid.

I notice these are not insulated like vans, is that because they are already done? Sorry for dumb question
Hi Ann, thanks for the comment. You can only really insulate in a few places, I normally put some above the roof lining, behind the door cards in due and tailgate, you can’t really put it anywhere else. Hope that helps

Hi brian, yes it was, normally spray them but this was using a high quality roller.

How do get into living space and shut yourself safely in at night without access to sliding doors?
Hi Rachel the tail gate has extended handles to enable to close it and I altered the locking mechanism to be able to unlock/ lock from inside.
Is this a LWB version?

Hi, the lady who owned the vehicle was only 5’5”. I’m 5’8” and still had plenty of room. If this was built for a taller person I’d add an extension piece behind the drivers seat that clipped in or folded up in place.
