  • Do you ever wish you could travel back in time and fully experience and see how people lived? This is exactly what Kentwell Hall gives to their visitors a few times out of the year. After you travel through a time tunnel you are immersed in the 16th Century. It was a great experience to walk among and interact with the tudors as they go about their daily activities.

@@macherasfamilyadventures4577 you should definitely visit again It isn't on this year although high summer is a possibility the summer is the best time to visit in the summer I am usually on the gentuary privilian (prob didnt spell that right) summer is the best coz like the garden is open sword fighting and barn school is always out and last year when we went out we where making stuff with wool must admit ready bought not from the wool shed but still. Another good part is the felters they offen do some things when you can felt some little charms. And where the cafe is, that and the front lawn is where we eat dinner offen jacket potatoes but it isn't as fun when it is your stations turn to do bowls, serve the food especially not the toilets ewww. If you are visiting make sure to say hi my Tudor name is Margot I think it has been so long and at the moment I have a brown kertel but I am making a red one over quarantine I am 12 so I am quite small and in barn school half the day still. If you are interested in being a tudor the older peoples clothes are a bit complicated but most things are easy eg coif (the white thing on are head) aprons and socks you just get some long grey ones from Tesco/sainsburys/m&s or buy some knitted ones babys offen I see offen just have a shift the white thing under are clothes you also need a belt shoes a tent to sleep in a basket it not necessary but usefull. The baby doesn't have to go to barn school yet as is still small so he can stay where ever you are tied around you with some fabric or carried around in your hands but it is amazing and so fun being a tudor we get parties and we have boat races and lootssss of camp fires after flag down and you will make loads of friends and memories forever it is amazing
